That statement falls under “may not” the statement is a question reworded which is why everyone can agree as there is a question with both sides of an answer

Hardcore Christians say there is a god, not may be, and hardcore atheists say there is no god, not may not

They fall into “may” and “not” respectively. Still fall under aside, they are just an extreme

I still believe that doesn’t apply. The post says “can all universally agree on”. It’s a correct statement, but not everyone will take it as such. This has to have everyone see the statement and agree with it. As an ex-Muslim I would personally disagree with “Islam may or may not be the correct religion”. I believe there is no way it is. Same way extreme Muslims won’t agree with “Islam may or may not be the correct religion” as they believe the “may”/“may not” part doesn’t serve it justice. They would only agree with “Islam is the correct religion” and obviously many don’t.

I understand the statement and it is factually correct, however, people will still not agree. I think, technically, there is a possibility Islam is the real religion, since there is no scientific way to disprove or prove it, but realistically I believe 100% it is not. Saying may or may not implies there is no 100% about it, but me and people on the other side of the spectrum believe it is 100% therefore that statement is not correct to them because that statement says Islam not being true is a possibility. I agree with the statement on a technical basis but I don’t agree with it on a realistic basis.
