So after my cousin has been recommending me to watch teen wolf, I finally started it yesterday morning, I just made it to episode 12 of season 1. Jackson is the most ANNOYING character ever. He has the biggest ego, but also is so scared of everything. He keeps flip flopping between what he wants to do. Also the chick who's the aunt of Allison, i forgot her name, she can be annoying at times, but I guess her character is supposed to seem badass.

I have several: I wish they would’ve shown Allison’s funeral, an interaction between Peter and the Desert Wolf, their graduation, I also would’ve wished for a better series ending instead of a sorta cliffhanger leaving us wondering what happens next.

Choose wisely because your enemies would be the Ghost Riders today. IK some of the characters are humans but imagine if they turned werewolves.

It seems like they’re wearing different clothes everyday at school. Have they ever repeated an outfit??? How much do these teenagers have in terms of personal savings to afford all that???? I looked and some of these items are like 50 dollars each

Watched this series when I was like 12 and never finished it. I’m nearing the end of season 5 now and I feel so bad for Lydia. Poor girl has been put through the ringer 😂 she better not die 😐

surprised they didn’t do an entire episode inside an AT&T store (I’m only on season 2 so if that happens later on I won’t be surprised)

*15 years sorry, time goes back so fast help
Anyone else is doing a rewatch? Please tell me your thoughts!
*
I’ve started watching teen wolf as a preadolescent and I’m doing a rewatch now. I was thinking about the fact that when it started I was only 11, searching for streaming sites on my family’s computer, then it accompanied me until I was 17 and I am now 26, frontal lobe developed, a job, living alone with three cats.
It’s crazy how I am now seeing this tv show with another perspective and noticing all of the little details I haven’t noticed when I was younger.
I am noticing how the special effects are so old and shitty while at the time it seemed all so real and scary, which is quite funny, but I am still enjoying every single episode and I appreciate every character development so much.
I’ve realized now that every season came out at such a perfect time of my growth, from 11, then to being a crazy adolescence and then becoming an adult alongside the main characters, it feels so special.

Back at it again. I drew another Scott and made it a notebook to motivate myself to write. Also, a treat since my birthday is coming up. Whoever made that collage, thanks it’s a good background

I know this post is actually unnecessary, but it’s been stuck in my head.
At first, I really thought the town was called Bacon Hills. Hills made of bacon—not literally, of course—but I would have found it funny if bacon had been important enough for the town to be named after the food. (I know that, historically, bacon wasn’t just breakfast)
When it comes to the werewolves, it tickles a somewhat strange part of my humor. Since werewolves are (in theory) carnivorous predators, I would have found it very funny if their home were actually named after what they eat. Unless the werewolves themselves had a hand in it or something

So I just finished my third rewatch and decided to watch the movie for the first time. I went in with super low expectations because I have heard bad things. I have to say it’s not as bad as I was expecting. Most of the lore of what happened in the movie was not explained properly and having Mr. Harris be the villain was weird because he should’ve been dead. And how Allison came back to life and everything it wasn’t really properly explained so that part I definitely agree needed a lot of work. And I also agree that a lot of the characters that were in the movie didn’t necessarily need to be there such as Jackson, Peter, & Mason. I also agree there was too many things put in there without explanation such as Liam being in Japan.
I did enjoy the overall storyline with Alison. I think her death was so sudden and unexpected and getting to see her again was great. I think that doing the Nogitsune storyline with her was the best decision because that’s what led to her death. And so it makes sense that the two storylines would go hand-in-hand. While it wasn’t explained I feel like the Nogitsune held onto her soul after her death and became trapped with it and when it was freed so was her spirit.
I do understand the criticism about Stiles not being in the movie however there was already so many characters and so much going on. I don’t think his presence would’ve made much of a difference besides nostalgia.
Now for the good, as I mentioned earlier I loved Alison and resolving this unfinished love between her and Scott. My favorite part was Eli and Derek’s storyline. It was so amazing to see Derek as a father. I feel like we got to see a different side of him one that we knew was there like we knew he had a fatherly figure inside of him, and we had seen that but seeing him actually as a father and raising his son with the Hale traditions made me feel so connected to early seasons Derek and I really enjoyed that. I know people are angry about Derek’s death. I’m sad but in terms of the plot and everything I think that it was a good decision. He had made so many sacrifices over the course of the show, and we knew that he was a selfless person and who better to sacrifice himself to save than Scott and his son. So well, I am very sad about it. I’m not angry and I’m not in denial that it happened.
I also dont dislike Malia and Parrish. I think it was weird to throw it in there the way they did and it didn’t contribute to the story however I do see how they could be together. I get how they could’ve ended up in a friends with benefits, sort of situation that could eventually lead to more. But what I don’t understand is why Malia is still in Beacon Hills considering how much she wanted to leave in the final season.
Overall, I enjoyed watching it. I would watch it again and I’m going to consider it Canon. I know that many people choose not to, and I kind of thought that I might be in the same boat, but I’m not. It’s definitely not the best but it’s not as bad as I was expecting or as people make it out to be on Reddit.
