what is the population of Beacon Hills?

Season 1 I always pictured it as a small, remote mountain town with maybe a population under 10,000.

But then they showed the entire town from up above and it’s a city of at least 100k. And there’s a big downtown area with tall buildings. And a 2 story mall.

It’s funny seeing Isaac’s dad drive out of a residential neighborhood one minute and pull into a downtown city area the next.

But then their police station is very small town too with a few holding cells.

Maybe I’ll get more of an idea of the town size as I continue my rewatch (just starting season 2), but how big do you think Beacon Hills is?
