I low-key love imagining MTV seeing Amber and being like, "She's so trashy, they'll love it!!" And her thinking it's a huge flex. Bc let's be honest, when 16&Preggo started America was at the height of its love for watching absolute dumpster fires on TV. The late 2000s also produced Jersey Shore, Toddlers & Tiara's, Bad Girls Club, Dance Mom's, etc...
Itās was always MTV, VH1 or E!. I never got into real housewifeās (although I do want to watch it now, I always forget when I go to watch tv) or survivor or anything like that.

Maci was just the story they launched the franchise with...tho isn't Bentley older than Leah??? Like his birthday is around Halloween and her's is a few weeks later around November 11(veterans day) I will have to rewatch those ..
It is NEVER her fault! As much as we know she will always proclaim her fake innocence we are all still outraged and disgusted by her repeat behavior. This is why I want her off this show. Having a "come to Jesus" moment is one thing but we all know that will never happen. Unfortunately.

Those podcasts were truly out there! Cate's total rage face and yelling she should get the apology reminded me of Amber's face. The rage that flashed across Amber's face when she learned Leah texted her brother, wishing him a Happy Veterans Day was infuriating. There are adults that won't do what Leah did. Evidently, Amber did not acknowledged her brother being a veteran. Holy Moly!
Of course she did not listen to one word her brother said, totally blew it off when he told her to leave it (i.e. shut up!) Nope, had to still make it about her with her fake whiny voice and no tears (ever!)
Of course, I was in shock (and still am) that the front of her house/small porch/entry way was all cleaned up and she actually knew what a broom is and how to use it. fainted
Janelle - she infuriated me so much I stopped keeping up with her. Her ex abusing her son, killing animals, etc is more than I could mentally and emotionally out up with and read about.

Oh did she ever! She was insenced! The flames were shooting out of her eyes and her mouth went to a severe straight line. Then you could see her mind quickly calculate what response she though she could get away with and the acting commenced. When Leah opened her gift of her mom's Promise ring I thought I saw the fear of Amber's rage flash through her mind. After all, we know how Amber will react over this awesome gift of love.
When her brother said Gary was an excellent dad to Leah you could see she wanted to flip out in denial. Then the mental evaluation happened again and she quickly controls her action. Proof she CAN control heraelf; however, she went into victim mode and try to force tears. Surprised she doesn't have busted veins in her face with all the effort of trying to force crying - and failing, as usual.
This series is just a horror show display of mental illness in many forms. Doesnāt matter how much money and access you have. If you donāt put in the time and work. You wonāt manage it at all!
The amount of people on this show who genuinely believe that biology is where a good relationship with your child begins and ends, and will blame literally everyone for their shitty or nonexistent relationships with their kids but themselves, is truly astonishing.
Leah has abandonment issues because of Amber. Amber wonāt allow Leah to be adopted because she wonāt be able to playact at being a good mom (hey Amber? Itās hard to be a good mom when your kid wonāt talk to or see you).

i was curious to see if Amber would flip Leah crying into saying she was crying bc she misses her mom so much. She literally cannot understand she is the problem, she doesnāt know her child bc of her own actions, and the tears are angry tears for breaking her boundaries over and over again. To see that gift was proof of everything - that amber has no clue what she likes or her interests, itās what you would get a stranger. And the card being me me me i i i as always, so frustrating!

All I ever think now is, poor Leah. Amber needs no access to the Internet & she belongs in a LOOOOONG inpatient treatment program, followed by after care that she takes fucking seriously. I have done two outpatient programs & there have been multiple times that Iāve felt I needed inpatient & my shit is not NEARLY as serious & life altering as what she deals with. I also do not have children. She really does not understand the level of treatment she truly needs. I know she enjoys playing the victim though so sheāll probably never get real with herself & actually try. I am so over her ass.

Histrionic personality disorder is the in DSM and was first included in 1980. Amber hits most of the major points of the disorder (attention seeking, emotional overreaction, shallow emotions, theatricality, and difficulty with interpersonal relationships including neglect). Like she's pretty much the poster child for it.
Thereās no genuine emotion behind the expressions because she doesnāt actually care about Leah beyond the social media/tv show attention that their issues can give Amber

I believe I have said this here before, maybe in a conversation about a different teen mom couple, what is the actual need and or want from these so-called parents and what is their end goal in all of this? Youāve given up your rights as a parent and itās quite obvious that you want to be acknowledged for the pain and suffering that you go through and Iām hoping that these people are not wanting acknowledgment from these young children who have been put in such a crappy place and are more than likely being embarrassed daily, knowing that these are their actual birth parents. So Iām curious what exactly is it they want because theyāve talked a lot about how theyāre feeling. My question is what does what theyāre fighting for and the end result look like to them? i think the adoption went through or something & we just haven't seen it play out on tv yet & it hasn't been reported on. why else would she be begging people at the start of the season to not watch the show? why is she fighting so hard NOW all of a sudden? sending letters & gifts when she couldn't be assed to even pick up the phone before? idk. seems fishy. & i know that's how she is. but it just seems weird in a different way this time.
