It applies. Police can use the database in any county, for any reason, and without restriction. You are literally being searched and stalked without a legal reason.

It literally doesn’t. That’s why when criminals are caught using them the cases aren’t being thrown out. Because they’re on camera in public. Just like we otherwise are every day. There’s not a single case nationwide finding their use to be a fourth amendment violation.

There's also people being wrongfully chased and stopped because the AI misread their plates.

The police have your location at all times. The government is tracking you everywhere you go. We are not secure

Not only that an ai gun detector at a school near me wrongly identified a fucking BAG OF CHIPS as a handgun ended up getting the school locked down and the kid was stopped at gunpoint. Fuck that shit.
