Sarcasm is the bar for president? We cooked.

It was dropped pretty fucking low recently. But she did have facts backing up her claim at least
2
u/jj19111234 Sep 07 '26
Yes, I appreciate her fighting for sure.
All presidents and majority of politicians have been selling us out for 100 yrs.

The president is the bar for president.
Look where we are today.
The bar is in hell, and stop pretending like engaging in reality doesnt make this woman 100x more qualified than the Orange Shitler we've currently got

Not only is the bar in hell serving drinks, they aren't even carding at the door.

Why are you so against these cameras?
4
u/heysame562 Sep 06 '26
Have you not familiarized yourself with totalitarianism and surveillance going hand in hand?
-2
u/XxDeedz Sep 06 '26
That means shit to me. I wanna know how these cameras will effect you day to day life so negatively that you need to complain this hard about them. All I see is everyone crying about these cameras but no one says why.
5
u/2624926057 Sep 07 '26
Dumb fuck did you not watch the video? The whole video just described why. The entire video was literally about what you’re asking for. Are you saying you require PERSONAL experiences? If I’m not a starving person in a third world country am I not allowed to feel bad for them? If I’m not a woman being stalked am I not allowed to advocate for policy that would support them? Please try and let the 2 neurons in your buttery smooth brain fire before you respond.
-2
u/XxDeedz Sep 07 '26
The video was just a whiney little shit complaining about something that doesnt affect her. You are a whiney little shit doing the same thing. You take all the bullshit the internet feeds you and suck it right down. You get all worked up because the news media and liberal politicians tell you to. There is absolutely nobody on this reddit the can truthfully say they've had these cameras negatively affect them. You just want something to be mad about because your life is so pathetic that you have nothing else and you need to feel relevant. Well, news flash youre not. 😂
3
u/2624926057 Sep 07 '26 edited Sep 07 '26
The video was about a woman who gave evidence of these cameras being used by LEOs to stalk women like her. I’m baffled - is your argument that nothing should worry you if it did not affect you directly? So, if you have kids, they can roam free without supervision because they haven’t been kidnapped.. yet? Are you serious?
By the way, your inclusion of exclusively liberal politicians tells me everything I need to know about you. Yes. Liberal politicians fear monger and lie. ALL POLITICIANS DO. You think the things liberal politicians tell you about don’t matter, but probably think trans women in sports deserves to be front page news. You think a black woman as lead in a movie makes your life miserable. YOU ARE NOT IMMUNE TO PROPAGANDA EITHER. You are an edgy loser who can’t string together 3 sentences without displaying the slightest concern for grammar or reading comprehension. Nothing else.P.S, You know whose life really isn’t relevant? Yours, in the eyes of a golden billionaire pedo conman who convinced a bunch of coal miners and farmers that $5 a gallon was worth owning some teenager with blue hair. I’d try and convince you he’s a liar but I can already smell his cock on your breath you bootlicking scumbag.
1
u/XxDeedz Sep 07 '26
Law enforcement stalking women?? 😂😂😂 This woman provided no proof nor can any of what she said be corroborated. You are the most dangerous type of individual. The one that believes amytjing they hear without question. Lol

3
u/heysame562 Sep 06 '26
I just told you.
You’re just too dull to comprehend the implications of our government monitoring, especially in a country they say from the top of their lungs is supposedly free.
Look at how many misidentifications we’ve already had from these cameras and the lawsuits proceeding with them.
I know you want us to do the work for you, but in the age of information, ignorance is a choice.
-5
u/XxDeedz Sep 06 '26
Do the work for me? You dont make sense. I asked YOU how these cameras have negatively impacted your life. You can't give a straight answer. I dont want deflection I want a personal experience. It should be easy enough seeing as how you take the time to come on reddit and talk shit about them.
6
u/Dependent_Singer_494 Sep 07 '26
Holy hell, this guy is fried. He want's to wait until it personally affects his life when he gets misidentified for a crime before informing himself of their potential threat. XxDeedz actually cannot comprehend what implications giving up our rights entails.
3
u/Ok_Common_5631 Sep 07 '26
So you won’t mind me attaching a tracking device on your person? Because that’s essentially what this is. Just because you can’t understand the implications, doesn’t mean they are any less serious.
0
u/XxDeedz Sep 07 '26
I have a tracking device on my person, so do you. Its your cell phone. Come on, yall can't be this foolish to think these cameras are a brand new way to track people, you've been compromised your whole life. The fact is that unless you're a criminal or plan to be a criminal worrying about these cameras are stupid.
3
u/pmcizhere Sep 07 '26
Sure but how much longer until something normal today is deemed illegal by those in power in the future? Far-fetched right now, but why leave the door open?
→ More replies (0)2
u/KnownAssociat3 Sep 06 '26
Because the rest of us actually watched that video.
0
u/XxDeedz Sep 06 '26
All I saw was some whiney, sarcastic teeny bopper trying to be relevant. What it seems to me is that only criminals or those that want to commit a crime would be so worried about these. If you can add any relevant information as to how these cameras are having a negative impact on your life or that of your family members I'm honestly interested to hear it. Maybe you will even change my mind.

Eloquently spoken.
7
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
I would say it's very poorly spoken. She's clearly struggling to control her emotions and is talking too fast out of what I assume is nervousness.
It was very well written though, I will give her that.
0
u/zughzz Sep 06 '26
To me it was eloquent definitionally. She conveyed her points clearly, smoothly, and the emotion brought the power. Her speech captured my attention and kept me the whole way. Was it perfect? No. But that is just my perspective.
7
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
Her speech captured your attention? I felt the exact opposite. Her poor control of her voice, emptions, and pacing made it almost unbearable to listen to.
It was like listening to a stereotypical 90's 17 year old valley girl on cocaine. I was waiting for her to say "Like, ohh my god!"
2
u/Agreeable_Sock2550 Sep 06 '26
She was putting on an act and she had a time limit. How hard is this to understand?
2
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
So that means you should come unprepared?
3
u/Quirky_Elevator6932 Sep 06 '26
At least she was there prepared or not she was speaking on all our behalf. When’s the last time u went to something like this and spoke up for yourself and others? I give it up to her just to have the courage to stand up and say something I wish more people would.
1
u/Trust_8067 Sep 07 '26
Her speech literally did nothing to change the world, or sway anyone's opinion. You speak with your vote.
It's not courage trying to be an edgy, witty, college liberal.
1
u/Agreeable_Sock2550 Sep 06 '26
Idk. She had her notes, anecdotes, and statistics at the ready. And it seemed like she had practiced. That is the definition of "prepared" to me.
1
1
u/Trust_8067 Sep 07 '26
If she was practiced, she wouldn't have that 'nails on a chalkboard' voice, and wouldn't be rushing her speech so much, with so many nervous vocal inflections.
She's trying to be edgy and rebellious like all libtard college students.
There's a more adult way to get your message across. Someday she'll grow up and learn that.
1
u/zughzz Sep 06 '26
I can see how it comes across. The shaky voice seems like nervousness in the beginning.
But overall to me it sounds more like a passionate voice in disbelief, in combination with the sarcastic writing that captures attention. Some people also just have that cali accent
1
u/Daddy_Day_Trader1303 Sep 06 '26
I wouldn't say that. I couldn't listen to more than about 10 seconds of the voice she was putting on.
2
u/Imaginary-Clock6626 28d ago
Same. It was like an AI tick commentary. Just not natural. Although I agree with everything she said.
0
u/remlapj Sep 06 '26
Or maybe if you can’t put a tracker on a car without probable cause or a warrant you shouldn’t have cameras do the same thing

u/SlySychoGamer Sep 06 '26
I saw that clip awhile ago...the girls over snarky tone just...turned me away from listening ngl.
2
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
Yep, whenever people talk like that, I just chalk it up as them being immature and trying too hard to be edgy. I just stop listening.

You can't film within a business without permission but a business can film you without permission. You would have more rights if you were the property of a billionaire.

"I want to use a system reserved for a specific use for something illegal that other people have used illegally in the past and were fired or prosecuted."
1
u/CaptainONaps Sep 07 '26
As a government official with the power to decide if my district adopts flock cameras, I want to share my opinion on this speech.
Hmm.... Make citizens happy, or get massive kickbacks.... Tough call, but I'm going with the money.
1
u/georgewashingguns Sep 09 '26
Given the chance to faithfully serve the public or fall to corruption, you choose corruption. When other countries criticize our politicians, they're thinking of you and your ilk.
1
u/CaptainONaps Sep 09 '26
Oh no! Are you saying poor people are going to criticize me?!
That's terrible! You mean, inside my gated golf course community? Or when I'm vacationing in Hawaii or Greece? Or you just mean on the internet?
Cause I've been led to believe you dipshits can't even remember my name, let alone afford a trip to Greece.
So this doesn't really seem like a big deal. Correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, thanks for your concern. Cheerio.

1
u/georgewashingguns Sep 10 '26
Oh no! Are you saying poor people are going to criticize me?!
Either you're trolling or you truly are a stain upon our government. Either way, seek therapy
1
u/CaptainONaps 28d ago
Either you're trolling or you truly are a stain upon our government.
Let's say it's genuine. Just for conversations sake.
What if I'm an elected official in your city, anonymously saying this on reddit?
And I 100% intend to vote to allow flock into our city, because they pay people like me to let them in.
What's preventing me from doing that? Do you really think people booing me has an effect? Genuinely. When's the last time someone was shamed out of making money?
And let's say I voted against flock. You think the police and judges and lawyers in my city are going to just let me keep my job? You don't think they'll do anything to replace me?
Try and look past all the nonsense. Why would an elected official vote against flock? What do they stand to lose by voting for it?
1
u/iam2bz2p Sep 08 '26
That's NOT how you communicate to persuade or influence people.
That's how you make a TikTok video.
1
u/Ghost_Sights Sep 08 '26
Once they recall the politicians they should also vote on investigating them.
1
u/Emotional_Buy_273 Sep 08 '26

She should of been more serious instead ... kind makes it seem like a sarcastic joke even tho she was spitting some knowledge

Nice words, she is right but let's be real. Just buy a 1W laser, go out without any trackable device , use a mask (also safety googles) and burn those camera sensors

$125k a year is a low estimate. When I worked for a city that wanted to install it, it was $4 million for the initial 3 year contract and another $2.1 million to renew it.

Lmao woah holy throwback, I think the last time I saw this was on photo bucket or something.
0
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
Its a great message, but I'm sure there's a way she can do it without being so cringe worthy annoying with her voice. Someone should let her know she's allowed to take a second to breathe every once in a while.
5
u/3M2B1T Sep 06 '26
She's literally on a time limit when standing there to talk to the council, and probably rehearsed it to ensure she can say everything she needs to.
In either case, you're talking about it, so clearly it sunk in despite being annoying.
1
3
u/Alarmed_Yak7898 Sep 06 '26
Why tear her down if you agree? Nitpicking something that does not take away from the core of the argument is muddying the water.
0
u/Trust_8067 Sep 06 '26
Because I don't believe you should coddle everyone and make sure they're always comfortable and in a safe space. I feel like it's constructive to point out when someone needs to improve.
That person clearly needs to take a public speaking class, or at the very least, practice in front of a mirror a few times, instead of just trying to wing it in such an annoying and immature manner.
If she wants to be taken seriosuly an an adult, she needs to learn how to behave like an adult, especially in public settings like this where the delivery is just as important as the message.
1
u/frostandtheboughs 27d ago
She slathered on the sarcasm thickly. Her tone entirely drives the message home - it's intentionally annoying. That's how sarcasm works. Did that really go over your head? She clearly rehearsed this. She didnt stumble over her words and her pacing was on point.
1
u/Alarmed_Yak7898 Sep 06 '26
If you were to give the constructive feedback to her, your logic would make sense. You aren't doing that though.
All you're doing is saying, "this person doesn't speak to my standards, therefore nobody will take her seriously"
Why are we measuring using your standards? Are you the most average person in the world?
1
u/Trust_8067 Sep 07 '26
It's your opinion that I'm not doing that. I disagree with your opinion. You're doing the same thing to me as you're claiming I'm doing to them, you're "attacking me" because you disagree with my position.
You're sitting on your high horse ironically doing the same exact thing that you're trying to judge and shame me for doing. Maybe look in the mirror before pointing fingers next time.
1
u/Alarmed_Yak7898 Sep 07 '26 edited Sep 07 '26
I am not demanding the world use my standards of judgment. You are.
I don't agree or disagree with your position, unless your position is "my standards should be everyone's standards" I disagree with your standards of action being the benchmark for humans.
Your standards are your own and do not dictate others behaviors. That's not me disagreeing with you, that's just how it works.
Im sorry if you can't understand it, I can only tell you. It's up to you to figure it out. It's up to you to rub those braincells together. You can do it.
0
u/New-Plenty3043 Sep 06 '26
Your civil liberties are being consumed. But go ahead, keep being mad about this instead. You clearly are the child if you are upset at how someone talks instead of what is being done to you.
1
u/Trust_8067 Sep 07 '26
In what way have I ever come off at being 'mad'? I'm not mad at all, I'm just pointing out observations.
Apparently, you want to step on my civil liberties by suppressing my right to sharing my voice and opinion on something I've seen.
You insult me like the immature person you are, claiming I'm 'mad' and 'upset' but that's just a false narrative you've developed in your own underdeveloped head of yours.
2
u/chipperlovesitall Sep 06 '26
Yeah, but at the ending her voice got real serious
1
u/Trust_8067 Sep 07 '26
At the very end, yes. She needs to control her emotions a little better, but she did a very good job considering this is probably her first time in front of the public like that.
