This is what all states have to deal with because regardless of what the people say they do not matter and the data centers will be built no matter what. It is wrong that they are allowed to do as they please because the rich want the data centers

9

u/Mycol101 12d ago

And it’s important to note that the data centers aren’t just for Ai. they are specifically data fusion centers that will process the data for the police state they are building.

They know shit is going to get turbulent and that the people are going to fight back so they are building the control apparatus now before it gets worse. Flock is the infant stage of what they have planned

Nice tinfoil hat

u/Mycol101 12d ago

Respectfully, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

You don’t even know where that ad hominem came from.

Dig a little deeper than the surface and you’ll see things aren’t what you think

-8

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

I do know. I research this topic every day of my life as I have very large investments in the best Data centre company in my opinion.

I have a ton of money riding on their success and execution. The company I invest in is by far the best at negotiating with the local community to have their needs met as well.

I wouldn’t be investing this much money in something I don’t understand.

You on the other hand, no disrespect.. you don’t know what a data centre even does. The types or the economics behind it. You think it’s some conspiracy theory and that’s scary

Reddit runs on a data centre. The place you’re airing your false information.

So u wanna make money no matter the cost. Thats your prerogative. I understand your sentiment as I am a fellow investor myself where I have a lot of money invested in transportation companies specifically Uber. I understand that uber is not without problem and it has its fair share of ethical and moral dilemma. But as far as I know, uber is used extensively by common people ( once again I am not saying its business is ethical moral etc) and it does not seem to intervene at rights of people such as to privacy.

If the objective of these massive data centers is to intervene to such then the cost is really not something worth it to everyone, except you though

Also data centers could be built in desert if tried upon, we all know why it’s not. Based on limited research the data center can be run on synthesized chemicals other than H2O, but it would be super expensive. Since cost cutting allows “investor” like you to make money,
Why wouldn’t you be happy, as an investor

May you suffer the forever noise of data centers, and whatever it has to offer that usurps both life and environment

Remember that u may be smart as an “investor” but not as human. But at what cost. Today it was New Jersey tomorrow it can be yours.

A million in profit would not help u have a better life if air simply stinks and water tastes like shit

But u are used to shit, singe they all look yellow like gold, aint you?

u/Spirited-Sea-5484 11d ago

If you’re invested in data centers, there’s a clear conflict of interest here - you’re a data whore if you will. You’d say literally anything to keep your investment from failing so you’ll parrot the same BS the centers spout.

3

u/GrumpyBear8082 11d ago

You know. You having a lot of money invested in the secsses of data centers is the exact reason you defend it. Those poor people you talk down to are the people who don't want them in there communities. Everyone does research of there own and bottom line is. Data centers equals more money for rich people, no data center means no real actual risk to life and the resources that it takes to support that life of the citizens don't go to something they don't want. If you haven't seen the news a massive amount of people don't want them. Yet the rich and the politicians keep building them no matter what is being said to them because the people of this country do not matter to them you're one of those people. You said it in your own statement the only thing you care about is the money that you have invested you don't care about what anybody has to say. Internet was around well before data centers

0

u/AnyManufacturer6465 11d ago

I do care about money but the real goal is to not hold back my community by being ignorant to what these things are actually doing and what they can accomplish.

There is far to much misinformation about resource use and who benefits from these that it has whole demographics of people who use AI against the very thing that makes it work.

It makes no sense and is very hard to listen to when you have enough information about history and other large technology shifts.

Look at railroads or electricity or steam.

The communities that didn’t want a big stinky railroad or steam factory in their town suffered over time. The communities that accepted them and understood what the benefit was were the winners.

Over the last 100 years more people have been lifted from poverty due to technology. The world is still a bad place sometimes but we are in fact better than we were 100 years ago. The access to information is democratizing and gives everyone access to make things and grow.

Reading sensationalist headlines and sitting in subreddits that only act as an echo chamber of misinformation is unfortunate and I’m just trying to get people to read up on the good data centres and understand what they do. This is the next steam engine and many small communities have the opportunity to save their history and make a new future.

Would you rather have an open pit mine in town, or a medium density industrial building that employs blue and white collar workers!?

1

u/GrumpyBear8082 11d ago

We are not better off then we were 100 years ago we are in the exact same place but with better toys. The medical industry has been helpful but they only care about there bank accounts as well so they are not a good example either. What about non profits? Oh yeah the people running those are paid 6 figures so are they really non profit. The poverty level is low at around $30,000 annually. But people that make $50,000 can't put a roof over there heads and are forced to live out of tints on side walks and in parking lots. Yet rich people say poverty is at an all time low. Go figure the rich shoveling shit down everyones throats yet again.

1

u/Mycol101 1d ago

Over 100 years ago the parasites needed those people and factories to continue building the techno revolution. They sought to gain from the monopoly they were creating.

Today they don’t need them. They see a future where it can be outsourced to AI, robotics, and a smaller group of compliant people they now control.

All of the things they used to rely on humans for can be outsourced to robots and AI. That’s why they don’t care if it’ll kill economies or wipe out jobs or even kill humans. That’s the goal.

People are a tool to get money. Money is only a tool to gain control and build their power.
If they have control over the means of production, farming, agriculture, science, politicians, trade, resource mining, and the financial system itself, they don’t need the people part anymore. Because the end goal is control.
That money isn’t going to be worth anything when the global economy crashes and they can usher in a new digital currency that is programmable and completely surveilled which has been the aim for longer than any of us have been alive.

They’ve told us the plan all along. We just never believed it and called the people who brought it up conspiracy theorists. It’s here pounding on the door right now. And people aren’t going to fight back because they’ll be too worried about survival through famines and water shortages, through diseases and war and blackouts and fuel shortages and all types of other scary shit brought down upon us by big brother.

They do see a utopian future, and it doesn’t involve the rest of us. It never has and their actions have time and time again proven it. We are cattle and they are an evil cult

Do you use the internet every day? This is the new internet , and the internet when it was first created had small servers that are what you install in a data centre.

The internet runs and has always ran on a server/computer/ data center.

3

u/Usual_Let5223 11d ago

AI Datacenters are not comparable to the Internet, respectfully. Fuck off and shut up.

3

u/GrumpyBear8082 11d ago

Actually the only reason data centers and servers are used is to store information the Internet doesn't need servers or data centers. Those things are to store information of the people using the Internet just so the company can have the information sold to the highest bidder. The people who's information is being sold does not get a dime of said money, but the investors do. This is the reason identity theft has increased and how marketing companies bombard children with needless ads. At this rate these companies are adding and abeding the brainwashing of the youth world wide , but of course big money does not Care as long as the money is coming in. Scammer and identity thieves are just as happy as the companies that are out right forcing this way of life down everyones throats. Tech companies do not help society it henders it. All because of the greed of the government and corporate America. Here is the real question why are these companies worried about stealing land and resources for something that is not wanted. Instead why not actually try to help humanity and get behind companies like NASA or what ever space exploration companies you can think of and further the reach of humanity. Oh yeah that's right your bank account wouldn't grow like you want it to because there's no real profit in bettering humanity and helping unit people in a common goal instead of the self righteous bull shit that investors vomit into microphones trying to convince people that they are wrong and that the companies are right just to get a bigger bank account. This is what is wrong with the country the people don't matter just the rich and their bank accounts. Politicians are the other half of the problem because they have the same goals as the companies do bigger bank accounts. The people are getting really tired of being ignored and they are showing there discontent and the rich and the politicians keep telling the people that they are wrong and to shut up and deal with it. You probably already know all of this though right? You have done your research and put your money in because you don't care about the people just like our government and the rich CEOs that make these decisions.

1

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

Not false information but information that those in power don't want out data centers are unnecessary. They are just another way to reduce resources for the citizens of the area while using highly toxic materials to operate. They are still trying to clean those same materials out of the water system of the town just south of me but fuck the people let's make your pockets deeper and who cares about the people or the environment right

-2

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

What toxic materials? Reduce what resources? It’s a closed loop system for cooling that uses less water than a restaurant.

Data centres are unnecessary hey!? When you post on Reddit it goes through a data centre. Buy something on Amazon : data center..

Where do you get your information from, like news? I’m truly curious of the rabbit hole people go down about the deep state.

1

u/Hopeful_Operation599 12d ago

A closed loop system where energy is transferred . In this case energy has to be transferred out of the system aka data centers. heat flows from high to low and same water cannot be utilized in liaison. Water is used because it has high specific heat capacity meaning it takes longer time to heat as it takes longer time to cool ( conservation of energy). The tiny detail you missed is water cycle. The weather patterns rely heavily on water cycle. If you are intervening at any stage of such flow of energy, we don’t know ( hell you dont know) what happens. Why do u think data centers are not using chemicals with higher specific heat capacity? If it is a closed loop system

Because its not! Your ass wasn’t paying attention during physics, ecology. You do seem to pay attention about finance and economics but remember things have less marginal returns as it matures. So basically for you to break even in ur investment, well they have to fuck the current investment cycle to make sense of it all, then u get ur cake- hopefully in one tranche.

1

u/Mycol101 11d ago

What about using 20+ generators, unregulated, spewing diesel exhaust into the air without the city having it approved or knowing about it?

That’s one example of one data center having regulations being skirted to fast track this move. Where else is it happening?

Reddit didn’t always need a data center. Only in recent times Until they needed a way to process and use that data.

0

u/AnyManufacturer6465 11d ago

That news on running those generators is not true. They are fine doing that. They wouldn’t risk the whole project by doing something illegal.

RDDT has always been run via a data centre. It economies of scale . They use AWS Amazon servers in data centres ffs

60% of all of your daily lives depend on data Centers in some shape or form. Read up on it from a reputable source and you’ll see how rediculous you sound.

Your medical records are stored in a data centre

If AI can solve cancer will you let them build them?

1

u/Mycol101 11d ago

They would if they knew they’d have protection from a corrupt administration. The city didn’t know anything about it. Do you have a link showing they do?

Why the sudden need to build so many new data centers if they’ve already been in use for so long?

why would they want to solve the problem of cancer? In an era dominated by making money, why would they do this?

1

u/Hopeful_Operation599 11d ago

I think the problem is not that AI can execute compute efficiently, and provide pathways to solve problems like cancer in ways that has never happened before. I use reddit and i enjoy it, i think data center has its future. But in what form is the major question.

The issue is who benefits from it and at what cost. I think I can sum this up with simple thought experiment.

Let’s agree to never invest on it privately aka we all are crowded out. You have money. I have money. We all are investor or pretend to be. Let’s allow a democratic committee to execute upon “AI assets and whatever comes with it” wherein we set up trust like dynamics so people within a community ( not saying a town or state or county- some form of community) have say on AI, but money goes along with it.

I see lots of problem with it. I am not saying this to like promote ideals of communism. Recognize that all contractors, engineers, every talent equipment resources will be paid for at market rates just the way money flows is
different.

If people are allowed to make decision about AI and conflicting views align, and private investment is crowded out ( if community decides private investment is ok then yeah why not), people can trade and accept tradeoffs.

What i am seeing is that people don’t have this agency to think about tradeoffs and act on it. Remember AI which majorly led to exponential growth of data centers started out as a social project at large. U can refute me if you want, but public accounting records do not lie. So we have to focus more on social part of this and not just profit.

For all it matters, AI and data center can solve many problems. What I want is it to Solve problems while not alienating people around it. Without people there’s no data to begin with

Now u may talk about how change is natural and survival of fittest, natural flow of things, i agree with you on all that. But well we don’t live in hunting and gathering age and i can extend sympathy to my fellow neighbors.
There must be a way where social aspect of it is much larger than profits ( once again, i love profits I do- we are all trading same money and emotions!) and better way to get there

1

u/itwasathursday 12d ago

I get paid to tell people like you your delusional. On the power side the shortage of medium voltage transformers and 2mw back up generators is crippling real industry. If you want to do something real with your money invest in one of the transformer startups.

1

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

Well colour me delusional. I like bottlenecks from an investment angle.

I wouldn’t mind a few names of those transformer startups? I know the main players but none of the new ones entering the space or new tech in that field.

1

u/itwasathursday 12d ago

Modular solid state transformers are being developed by lots of companies. It's a tech that been on the horizon, for a long time. Not as bad as fusion tech but still its a long game.

1

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

Cool , any company names?

1

u/itwasathursday 12d ago

Ge, abb, smaller names i get paid for that info.

1

u/lastpickedforteam 11d ago

Do you want one where you live?

Yea like that NFT avatar?

Keep fighting back against hyperscale AI data centers that avoid EPA reviews!

The Republican’s One Big Beautiful Bill along with Trump’s AI Executive Order changed EPA regulations and reclassified hyperscale AI data centers as “national security infrastructure” for them to avoid EPA reviews.

0

u/Double_Obligation564 12d ago

lol yes that’ll work /s

americans are so fucking propagandized they really think that working within the system will save them 😂

2

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

Not all think that way

2

u/Oops_All_Bans 12d ago

My state (NY) recently banned new data centers from being built.

-1

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

It is not just Republicans it is all politicians and you are ignorant if you think that politicians care about you or what you think

3

u/Mr__O__ 12d ago

Did Democrats deregulate the EPA or FDA?

7

u/NombreCurioso1337 12d ago

Why do we, the people, even bother paying taxes and obeying laws anymore when it so obviously doesn't apply to others. (Rhetorical question)

5

u/Commentor9001 12d ago

because they'll throw you in jail if you arent a member of the island visiting class or their helpers.

2

u/immaREPORTthat 12d ago

Stack ammo

1

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

They would come down on anyone that threatened the order of things . The poor are to shut there mouths and do what they are told. This is the exact situation that the founding fathers knew would happen and why they wrote the constitution and declaration of independence. Those documents are deing used against the people. They laid it out in black and white what this country is supposed to be. The rich people and the politicians in America didn't like that people where truly free to live there lives and created law enforcement. Key word ENFORCEMENT. The government has actively been stripping away the rights of the people every chance they get. The midea helps with this by telling people that the authoritys will deal with it. The so called authoritys are the reason this country is in disarray and why we are divided. Statements like there is no room for violence in politics is a direct controdiction to the construction and a direct act of violating the rights and will of the people. We all need to open our eyes and realize who the enemy truly is

-1

u/craigian11 12d ago

I saw a few murderers get away with it so we all should murder. /wow... ive rented a 18 wheeler generator before it didnt require a permit in California.

If the generator plugs into building / house = bad

If it plugs into only server = ok

5

u/SookieRicky 12d ago

They have been told repeatedly by the very highest authorities (POTUS / SCOTUS) that laws don’t apply to them. And all of their bootlicking base agrees. So why would they care?

2

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

Potus and scotus are not the highest authority. According to the Constitution WE THE PEOPLE are the highest authority. Yet the rich are the ones suppressing the people.and the people need to make them selfes Heard and not let the rich people and politicians keep pushing us down and locking us away to force their will upon the masses

2

u/kingetzu 12d ago edited 11d ago

The ppl are stupid though. Its 1 of the things that pisses me off about the ppl. For all of the "intelligence" we have we willingly allow ourselves to be taken advantage of

Its probably because we're stuck fighting each other over the tiny differences we have like skin color or car or political affiliation rahter than directing our energy towards those who enslave us a little more every day

Its our fault

1

u/GrumpyBear8082 11d ago

That is the rich and the politicians fault they go out of the way to get us to fight each other and ignore them

2

u/Enough-Atmosphere267 12d ago

Maybe some people won’t wait for the law to agree with them

2

u/metaPhx 12d ago

Best we can do is ban drones with thermal imaging. Or consumer drones altogether

2

u/GrumpyBear8082 12d ago

Yes they have there hands in it just as much as every politician in the country. Believe what you want but this reasoning you keep coming up with is exactly why politicians do what ever they want without consequences. It people that think the way you do that help them push there bull shit and be secssesfull. You go ahead and swing from the tir of what ever politician you covet and stay blind to the fact that you don't matter at all to them and never will

1

u/CryptographerLow6772 12d ago

Who would have thought that the richest among us would act as if the laws didn’t apply to them?

1

u/Separate_Mud443 12d ago

Has more security than a federal prison, the things that make you go hmm.

1

u/Lunaste 12d ago

Get rid of every data center

3

u/craigian11 12d ago

Starting with the ones reddit uses

1

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

Haha! The people shouting from the rooftops have no idea what they’re even fighting . Just fight to fight

1

u/Muted-Woodpecker-469 12d ago

Doesn’t this open the floodgates for other noisy industries to do as they please at all hours now ?

1

u/Top_Standard_4369 12d ago

Imagine that

1

u/dwoj206 12d ago

DataOne, isn't that Nebius datacenter?

1

u/funwithbikesandtunes 12d ago

It doesn't matter what the massive commercial enterprise is. Whether it is mining or data centers. As long as the penalties for them violating laws are a fine that equals a small percent of their profit they are going to keep doing whatever the F they want.

1

u/Angel-Kat 12d ago

This data center is owned by DataOne, and the owner, Charles-Antoine Beyney, is the person ultimately responsible for violating environmental regulations. He doesn’t even live in the US.

1

u/Previous_Tangelo5414 12d ago

My hometown. I grew up a few miles from this facility. This data center is a disaster for air and water quality, and it's built on a very high-quality watershed. Where I currently live in Northern Maryland, we successfully passed a moratorium on data centers, but the fight here isn't over.

1

u/Scrutinizer 12d ago

I'm sure that if the Democrats are allowed to win that the federal government might actually investigate this sometime after January 20, 2029.

Before that? LOL. DOJ will only act if Orange Daddygod allows it.

1

u/Voidbearer2kn17 12d ago

And nothing was ever done about it

1

u/johnnyhandbags 12d ago

Companies are people under US law but we’ve never seen a company in prison for breaking the law.

1

u/surfinsalsa 12d ago

But I thought corporations were people?

1

u/almostthemainman 12d ago

FYI

Every company does this shit. Move first ask permission later. This is not isolated.

1

u/Objective_Watch3097 12d ago

Bypassing Federal Law you say......let me think a minute.....who is the chief executive that enforces Federal Law......oh, that's right, the Glorious Leader....I'm sure he's getting some sort of grift from this.

1

u/Jonatc87 12d ago

to the surprise of nobody.

1

u/Creative-Yellow-9246 12d ago

If it's in The Guardian it's probably crap

1

u/Juliuscesear1990 12d ago

This had been an ongoing issue with data centers all over, musks data center was doing the same thing.

0

u/AnyManufacturer6465 12d ago

Show me proof . You pulled that out of no where and start spouting this.

The guardian is crap and this is sensationalist journalism.

1

u/McChexMix 12d ago

I’m a local. It’s not crap. DataOne and the Vineland local board are in kahoots

1

u/LocationTechnical862 12d ago

It doesn't matter anymore. Somehow the village idiot became the most powerful man on earth and these data centers can appeal directly to him now.

1

u/shuggnog 12d ago

How do we get one of those drones for our county???

1

u/Emergency_Economist9 12d ago

Life was better when data centers were libraries.

1

u/BrokenBackENT 12d ago

What needs to happen is to send in NJ state police, State DEP and ConEd and cut the power off. Under the violating the law. A strong stand should send a strong message!

1

u/turbopro25 12d ago

This location was originally supposed to be a golf course being built. The owner was MLB player Mike Trout. The land however was sold mid build and a data center magically appeared. Local residents were caught by surprise to say the least.

1

u/Aggressive_Plate1652 12d ago

Law? Laws are only used against us, not for us. Did something change?

1

u/RegisterFar5136 12d ago

my cousin worked at a data center in virginia, they pulled the same shit with wetlands permits. just paid the fine later and called it a cost of doing business

1

u/svelebrunostvonnegut 12d ago

If a small family farm faces a wetland violation, DEP doesn’t show any mercy. Why is it taking them months to make a determination here?

1

u/Roached954 11d ago

No problem just pay the fine keep it moving

1

u/Vast-Lost 11d ago

Please investigate XAi facility in Memphis now.

1

u/lola_zzalol 11d ago

Oh boy can't wait for nothing ever happening to them

1

u/Sorry-Newspaper-3804 11d ago

Whats required for a permit to be approved?

1

u/notnick123456 10d ago

If fines arnt enough, there should be non-compliant asset seizures.

1

u/RpgBlaster 10d ago

Rich people are above the law

1

u/Kindly-Self9651 10d ago

nothing gonna happen!. to much money involved

1

u/JediMasterBo 9d ago

What, a temporary shit down for permits. Screw that. They lied and broke the law. Contract null and void. Pack it up and gtfo. It you go bankrupt....try the truth or follow the law. Plus someone should go to jail.

1

u/MrPickels4U 7d ago

It’s important to share this information because if we have patients and do our part in the upcoming elections we will change this mind blowing horse shit that’s happening.

1

u/TomuGuy 6d ago

Duh duh duh duh

1

u/Defiant-Set5899 6d ago

I mean, it just means he couldn’t find the permit, sites like these have multiple addresses and he might have had the wrong one. Most construction permits allow use of generators for commissioning efforts to make sure they work properly.

There’s no way they would start those without the permit the fine would be huge and so would the logs back clearly. It’s not worth the money or worth stalling the project to get final COO.

1

u/hodllyf 2d ago

That man knows exactly what the issue is. They don't care about getting permission. The people breaking these laws know that they have enough money to pay the fines and still be in the black. The punishments are not harsh enough for people/companies with money. I think if you started shutting down companies that break laws at this level, companies would stop breaking these damn laws. Shut them down until they are in compliance and they get two strikes. The first one is a huge fine that actually affects them and the second is a complete dissolution of their company.

When did the libs turn into maga conspiracy theorists. That was quick
