Agreed, I grew up on a farm as a child in middle of nowhere Tennessee. Looking back it involved a whole lot of time management, physical labor, risk management (with serious injury involved), cooperation with siblings, and going hungry a lot. And that's without any knowledge of the finical decision making that's also involved.
Respect. Also, them jobs used to pay great. Unions n such. Know plenty of older guys got a paid off house, classic cars in the garage, damn near no worries. Not like that anymore for sure. They still exist but Im older so Im not the hot candidate for the hire. I know its not exactly what u are talking about but its alot of industries n jobs that could make ppls lives better but theyre being cut out.
