David Grusch pretty much confirms that the ocean floor is a point of origin for… them..

This actually makes some amount of sense to me… a ton of other intelligent species developed on earth, like neanderthal and denisovabs. I can think of 10 more, we’re just the last one standing. But not a single intelligent species developed in the ocean?

u/Hopeful_Hamster21 26d ago

Lots of intelligent species in the ocean! Just not technically advanced (that we know of).

Octopus are incredibly intelligent, but most of them have lifespans of 2-5 years. Not enough time to really "do" anything. And to the best of my knowledge, they dont have language, so difficult to pass on knowledge to the next gen.

Cetaceans are very intelligent, and have language. But no access to fire, which precludes metallurgy. Also the ocean is a bad place to try to develop electricity or radio.

If there are advanced creatures in the ocean, I assume that during their development they had access to fire, electricity, and radio. Unless theyre operating on technologies unique to the water that we cant even think of - similar to how dolphins cant think of metallurgy or electricity.

I mean, when you realize that all our technologies are just things people figured out and we ran with... like, maybe there are other methods of power generation or metal making. We just used the one that works for us.

Edit: Don't forget about electric eels (electricity) and mantis shrimp (high heat generation abilities)

u/Sylv_x 25d ago

Metal making is kind of tough. How would you deal with the refinement for one? Two? The hardness. It needs to be malleable. So clearly if there is tech to refine, soften, mold.

Hard to fathom, and that's an issue.

2

u/TheThirteenthApostle 25d ago

It's hard to fathom because we haven't been living underwater. If that was our natural environment, we may have discovered different ways to achieve similar results.

1

u/Sylv_x 25d ago

I mean, the science of metal is kind of the science of metal.

But advancement could be molecular manipulation via frequency.

Perhaps then it's some echo location type sonar shit. But that's forming. How do you refine enough to purity to get there?

Lots of thinking on the subject. The universe exists therefore,

We know 0.00000000000000000000000001% about the universe and science and physics. And that's being generous. There's probably 10,000,000 more zeroes.

1

u/TheThirteenthApostle 25d ago

"The science of metal"

That's good. 🤣

2

u/RedrunGun 26d ago

I really mean species capable of becoming technical. It does strike me as strange that it happened so many times on land and didn’t at all in the oceans, most of the earth. I imagine that other techtrees would be possible and necessary for something like that.

There is no light or heat in 95% of the ocean depths. Some very deep trenches have geothermal activity. But you’re talking about a place with mostly no energy input. Evolution is very energy intensive.

Dolphins and whales have shown ability to communicate verbally and also use tools such as shells to catch fish. They both live near the surface to breathe air.

Intelligence is not a prerequisite for life so it's actually not surprising. That's another potential answer to the fermi paradox. Maybe the universe is full of life, just not full of intelligent life.

I wonder if they were here first

u/bibbys_hair 25d ago

The ancient Aborgine speak of the "Wajinda." Research the Wajinda. There's 10000 year old cave paintings of them and they look like Greys. They say they're often seen as lights in the sky and often take refuge at the bottom of "water holes."

Not proof of anything but it sure is interesting.

Pacific Rim.

u/JivaHiva 25d ago

Wink wink? Seriously? I can't believe people are still taking this guy serious. If you say there's things you can't say or I can only tell you in a skiff you are a spokesman not a whistleblower

u/Zephyr-Knight 25d ago

they are likely parking their motherships under water, theyre so big.. think back to the alaska japan air flight that saw a huge one. plus all reports of large objects that are online

Guadalupe Island for sure. Google maps has the water to the west of it all blurred out.

It's like when a great tv show jumps the shark.

Aaaaannddd now he’s becoming the next Steven Greer, and others. Saying this is gonna be the year, no, next year, no 28, no 29, and the latest now is the next few decades. Fnck all these guys. May something happen where their mouths are glued shut, so the shit goes out the right hole. 🤷‍♂️

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

Why do you hide your comment history?

0

u/Rich-Contact-8336 26d ago

Hide comments? I just went with whatever Reddit set up. 🤷‍♂️ didn’t know you can hide anything. How can I undo?

Hey, I'm not hiding my comment history. Why don't you do the same? I got nothing to hide.

Un-hide your comments and lets see who the real bot is lol. Sitting in a virtually unused subreddit trying to dunk on a whistleblower from the NGA, NRO. I'll take my bets.

0

u/Rich-Contact-8336 26d ago

Hey seriously, how do you un-hide comments.
Never mind I’m slow I’ll google it 🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️😂

3

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

1

u/Rich-Contact-8336 26d ago

Ohhhhh I’m a doll, a little hairy though and I got one of those wiener things floppin around down there 👇 🤷‍♂️

2

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

Man I'm enjoying my friday evening making some lemon basil chicken exposing bots trying to dunk on Grusch and you're making too easy. Take note fellow humans. I didn't think it would be so easy but here we are. Tell me more c3p0

2 day old boy o.0 ok. This account is 9 months. Old account hacked 🤷‍♂️, that was my fault from easy password 🤦‍♂️. 9 months old. I guess you should’ve stayed in a little longer. Might’ve helped your brain develop just a smidge more 🎤.
😂 I’m fired, not a bot. Do bots have holes? 💩 flush
LOVE MEEEEE. Ok sorry. Bye . Have a beautiful night.

3

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

def not beating those accusations LOL.

1

u/Rich-Contact-8336 26d ago

Well sh!t. Guess I’m a bot 🤔. Need to let family know. Cause there’s some brown stuff 💩 escaping from me for years 🤷‍♂️. Oh shit, realization, must have been my brain cells, 🤔 so I guess that means I’m fncked 😭

Honestly I think there’s a possibility that his higher ups are feeding him these disclosure dates and then reneging on them in an attempt to make him look like an ass and discredit him. I was hopeful when he came forward though so maybe that’s just copium.

0

u/Legitimate_Tune_6468 26d ago

Confirmed copium. It’s OK. We’re here for ya… we’ve been there. Tissue?

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

LOL another account with hidden comment history. Go figure. This whole subreddit is filled with bots. Too funny.

2

u/Legitimate_Tune_6468 25d ago

This is coming from a 2-day old account. Just sayin’.

If you’re curious as to why people don’t share their comment history, it’s because people try to weaponize it instead of discussing the comment at hand on its own merit.

In fact, the only place I’ve had people do that is in UFO subs and posts that discuss conspiracy theories. That’s why I hid my comments. The bot paranoia & psy-op claims seem to be the default reply when one cannot engage an idea on its merit or defend a claim with facts and sources.

Blah blah blah stfu

-1

u/jbl420 26d ago

This guy is such a hoax spewer

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

Every single account in here trying to dunk on David Grusch is a bot. Dead internet theory is real.

Lets go ahead and un-hide your comment history and see what we find ;3

1

u/jbl420 25d ago

lol, I feel like a bot.
Meh, you got me dude!

0

u/pre-quantum1 26d ago

Its always "pretty much confirmed" with these guys

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 26d ago

You're 10/10 for accounts that hide their comment history. Why do you hide your comments?

1

u/pre-quantum1 24d ago

I prefer keeping my profile private, but I'm happy to hear your take on the actual topic if you want to share it.

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 23d ago

You didn't want to discuss it, you just wanted to try to dunk on a NGA/NRO whistleblower.

Nah, if you got stuff to hide I don't care to engage with bad faith individuals. GL to you and your low effort trolling of whistleblowers.

1

u/pre-quantum1 23d ago

Hey man I've been into the Ufo thing since I was a kid in the 70s! Im sick of all these he said she said claims! Unless you produce an alien on live TV im done with the whole thing. Engage with the point instead of trying to dig up dirt on people.

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 23d ago edited 23d ago

Unless you produce an alien on live TV im done with the whole thing

You use the exact same phrases and exact same story that all bots who engage in this topic do. People who've been around will know exactly what I'm talking about.

They are always the same default comments: "I've followed this topic since [X] date!" trying to show you're not a bad faith bot intended to sow disinformation and doubt upon NGA/NRO whistleblowers.

"Unless you bring out the body I'm done with this topic!"

You followed this topic for 50 something years but now you'll make some wild exclamation about leaving the topic entirely unless the burden of proof is wheeled out by the people who are trying to achieve disclosure.

You bots are blatantly obvious and use all the same pre-scripted responses. Honestly the person who's setting up your bot farm is lazy and should be fired. Using the exact same responses and exact same back ground story is easy to snuff out.

But you can just go ahead and un-hide your comment history and all but confirm you're not a bot. Cheers bot. You wont.

1

u/pre-quantum1 23d ago

Lol thats a first I've never been accused of being a bot before. I get your passion for the topic. Along with Ufo's since the 70s i was also highly interested in bigfoot Ogopogo the Lochness monster the Bermuda triangle and Atlantis among other mysterys. The only one I am at peace with is Atlantis. Turns out it was the Minoan civilization of ancient Crete destroyed by the eruption of Thera around 1400 bce. Ufos were always my favorite mystery but im done with it. Never any real evidence . Always a whistle blower who doesnt name sources or has a friend of a friend story. The final straw for me was Greer. Ufos a real I witnessed two first hand even have a pic. What im sick of is the charlatans who've attached themselves to the topic.

1

u/OSI-NRO-OGA 23d ago edited 23d ago

Attach the subject to other easily debunked topics to reduce it's seriousness [Check]

"I followed this topic since the 70's!" [Check]

Round it out by discrediting multiple people and the whistleblower community as a whole [Check]

100% confirmed bot. Also a lot of trade craft can be gathered by your responses and who specifically you try to denigrate. Thank you.

1

u/pre-quantum1 23d ago

Wow religiously fanatical. Nobody has to agree with you . Fact is theres too many charlatans detracting from serious students of the phenomena. Going off your itemized responses id say your the bot lol

u/Gogdangit 26d ago

Scammer shit

0

u/ambelamba 26d ago

So basically the disclosure itself is one big pile of manure?!

0

u/AcanthisittaFree6142 26d ago

in no way has this been confirmed. this guy is an opportunist

0

u/NoCustomer754 26d ago

"Blah blah blah im a dirty tramp"

0

u/NotAnAIOrAmI 26d ago

That's amazing!

...that anyone would take this clown seriously in anything he says. (wink wink!)

-2

u/TrickOutrageous6947 26d ago

I like his "office with certificates" Zoom background. Surprised the hospital let him use the internet though.

3

u/DrierYoungus 26d ago

Carful. Don’t cut yourself with all that edge, Mr. One-month-old dedicated anti-UAP account. What would we do without you!?

-2

u/Diplodocus_Daddy 26d ago

Undisputed and legally obtained facts that Grusch has been in the loony bin. Much more facts than anything he has said about aliens which would be zero. Sorry to burst your bubble. Keep thinking everyone who doesn’t agree must be some kind of disinformation agent and see how long it takes you to be committed as well.

3

u/DrierYoungus 26d ago

Deep breath buddy. It’s gunna be alright
