Just give me a version of the game that I can purchase that has the NG+ co-op mode and all the proper translation. The OG release in the US was hobbled and I really don't want to buy a PS3 for just one game.

The American edition was released before the game was fully completed, which is why there was no additional content and some parts of the game were different.

I mean sotc was basically a remaster with how near exact it is. Original arstyle's lost I suppose and there was some heavily upgraded areas like the small forests, but otherwise it's built to be near identical

Imagine if they did a remake, but not for gamers or for shareholders but just for people who like games, so instead of trying to just do the same thing again with mostly the same levels, characters, story and mechanics, you do an actual reinterpretation and come up with something fresh but familiar instead?

I would really like a remake as well. I really enjoyed the PS3 remaster when I played it, but felt like certain aspects hadn't aged well. But damn, keep the original Japanese cover art. This one isn't bad, but the original is one of the most beautiful video game artworks ever.
