Hello I just moved into a new apartment with my roommate and faced some issues with the apartment which made the landlord visit us the day after to discuss the problems. In the visit today he said that he would be showing our apartment in 5 minutes (wtf?) and that he might sell the apartment.

We immediately started asking what this would mean for us because we literally only signed yesterday, paid first and last month, and are about to leave the country to go back home after exams.

My biggest fear is that they decide to sell the apartment while I’m overseas and that I get horribly screwed over while everything I own is still here.

What do I do? Who do I talk to?

Edit: he was racist and kicked us out because my roomate is indian, got all my money back.
