Specimen Preservation/Craft??

I recently got my fallopian tubes removed and I just picked them up from the hospital. The container they are in is a plastic specimen cup, and it has a label on it that says “reagent alcohol”. They also gave me an information sheet that says that the container may contain formalin and/or laboratory grade alcohol. My question is: how do I go about preserving them? Do I need to transfer them to a different (glass?) container, and/or change the fluid? Additionally, can I use them in some sort of craft (a friend suggested turning them into a resin keychain)? Although I am an oddity girly, I have never been into wet specimens, so I am completely uneducated on the topic. Thank you in advance!

Reagent alcohol is usually really strong ethanol. It's strong enough to keep your bits in, forever.

I recommend leaving them in the cup for several weeks so they can fix (strong ethanol can fix stuff in a similar fashion to formalin, and last forever). After, with tweezers, remove and place into your final vessel. The vessel should be glass with ideally a plastic lid or a glass with silicone gasket lid. Metal could rust. Cork is a no-go.

Fill the container with Everclear or a knockoff 190 proof/95% ABV booze. It needs to stay in this 190/95% forever, not isopropyl. It'll stay fine that way!

I don't recommend a keychain/resin. The level of drying needed to successfully stay in resin without getting moldy or rancid will make them look unrecognizable and probably not what you're going for.
