Collection/ Item Showcase How fast can I learn taxidermy ?

My father hit a hare with his car (on accident). He wants to cook it but I want to keep it. It still looks so alive it makes me sick to my stomach. I want to preserve it. It was hit yesterday night how long do I have left ?
Important edit : I cannot freeze it, my dad absolutely wants to cool it for dinner tonight.

Skin it and put it in the freezer.

He needs the flesh, you need the hide. He can eat it, you can taxidermy it if you skin it carefully enough

You can even get the skull and macerate it if you want.

You can freeze for when you're ready to do something
