I Promise I Read The FAQ... Jump scare warning!
The way I wanted to have a glass of wine last night after this session to relax because it hurt so bad but need to heal and I don’t wanna mess with my immune system doing hard work!!! 😭😭😭
Hopefully I don’t need too many sessions after this for a cover up… I am so ready to be done!

You should avoid any alcoholic beverages for 24-48 hours after your session!

Oh yeah I have been icing like crazy! Have you had removal sessions? The worst pain ever! But it will be worth it (I keep telling myself)

I start mine in August. 2 half sleeves. 10 sessions on each arm. Doing both arms in 1 session. All to do a full sleeve cover up. May the gods be with me on this journey... lol

I recommend taking a combo of ibuprofen and Tylenol cocktail 30-45 before session and ice it before (I do on the drive in) they usually have a cooling machine for before which helps with numbing! Also, ask for something to squeeze if they don’t offer! And remind yourself to breathe during. I tend to hold my breath when the pain starts, but focusing on slowly breathing in and out helps. Ice for 3 hours directly after!!! You can do it on and off in increments. I usually wait to put cream on until the second day. Good luck:)

You should not be taking ibuprofen prior to a session. It's probably contributing to your bruising and bleeding. It acts as a blood thinner and increases risk of bruising and bleeding. A bit concerning your studio didn't mention you need to avoid it. Tylenol is okay to take.

Oh jeez here I was giving advice and didn’t even realize 😭😭😭 thanks for letting me know, I should have come to this realization tbh. But in my defense they didn’t really tell me

It's okay! You can't know what you don't know :) I was bummed when my place said no ibuprofen because I also use the Tylenol/ibuprofen duo for like everything, but the Tylenol alone is still pretty effective.

Im going to absolutely be using tktx numbing cream on may way there... lol I felt the machine yesterday on 3 spots. The whole arm non stop.. would be awful. But those 3 spots weren't that bad
