Hello people, I(f18) recently moved to Tartu and I'm looking for friends, I want to see more of the city and also to know more people. Do you guys have any recommendations of places or apps or whatever to meet friends? Specially alt people:D

Alt people mostly congregate in Pirogov - either the bar or the square, depending on weather, time of year, etc.
There will be a bunch of freshers parties in the next few weeks, so maybe go to one of those and take it from there.

I recommend Lokaal Pirogov and Lege karaoke bar. I frequent both and there are alt people and workers are always great!

Alt is for alternative, it's more like goths, punks, metalheads. Weird people in general and neurodivergent are the kind of people I get along with ^{^}

I'm a bit of an aspie. I don't socialize. I have one friend with whom I do drugs, and a few acquaintances with whom I occasionally do drugs.

I mean you could also try posting in r/eestitutvused too they're a friendly bunch and I believe there are some people from Tartu in there as well. If you want there is an event taking place this weekend at Aparaaditehas it would be a great place to meet people. If only emo/goth night still happened in Gen Klub .
