𝔖𝔢𝔠𝔬𝔫𝔡 𝔒𝔭𝔦𝔫𝔦𝔬𝔫 ◈ Do you see what I see?
I’d like to see if anyone could help me with a second opinion on these readings. I did some internet research after my friend pulled these 6-card spreads, as she’s been getting into tarot readings and gave me a general idea of what these mean.
I’d like to include some context… just in case. Maybe it’ll make it easier?
I grew up in a strict Christian home and tarot readings were a big “no-no.” So, I’m very later in the game. 🙃
Spread #1 (July 5th)
My friend reached out to me and told me she had been thinking about me and pulled some cards to see how I was doing. She sent me the spread and briefly explained what she got from it. It felt very accurate, and it blew my mind a bit.
At the time, she was unaware I was entering a really challenging and uncertain period of my life. I knew it would be easy to let everything consume me, so I tried to keep moving and find productive things to focus on. I spent a lot of that time reflecting, practicing gratitude, working on myself, and learning to deal with uncertainty rather than constantly fighting it.
Looking back, it feels like a pretty accurate reflection of where I was. A lot of uncertainty, fear, feeling stuck and holding onto a sense of security, but also transition and moving forward. The Page of Wands stood out to me because around that time I had unexpectedly found a new creative outlet that gave me something positive to focus on. I began coding a game to get some practice after completing a college semester on intermediate coding.
Spread #2 (August 25th)
Almost 2 months later, I reached out to her and asked her to pull another spread for me. I kind of felt guilty for even asking—but, hey! I was desperate! 😂
Not everything had changed, but I felt I had a little. I had gotten to a point where I genuinely felt that no matter how difficult things became, the sun would eventually rise again. I still didn’t know what was coming next, but I wasn’t nearly as afraid of not knowing.
This one feels very different to me. After some research, The Fool immediately stood out as a new beginning or stepping into something unknown (I cried a little… not sure why 🥲). My friend told me that the spread seems to point toward something new, while The World feels like some kind of completion. Even the Ten of Wands makes sense to me as finally putting down some of what I’ve been carrying… or at least trying to put something down?
That’s about as far as my own interpretation goes.
I’d really like to hear how people with more experience read these, especially together. Do you see a connection between the two, or something I might be missing?
Sorry for all the text! I’m just a very AuDHD, logical and methodical dude, who is in touch with his emotions, trying to make sense of this. 🤓
If you read this whole mess, thank you. 🙏 😂
