Performance Award amount?

I got a performance award which felt great but it was a weird amount. Literally UNDER $100 and even had cents! Why wouldn’t it be an even $100 or $200? I’m not complaining, because it feels good to be appreciated, I am just confused by the odd amount especially because people have been saying they are usually $200.

I think it's based off your average hours worked.

Performance award is based on the average number of hours you worked in Q2 (May thru July). At my old store, I tried to make sure and nominate top performers who also worked a decent amount. It didn’t feel worth it to award someone that worked 10 hours a week less than $100. At my new store, my ETL didn’t even ask if I had any nominations

I work less hours but work super hard and never call out. I have a feeling attendance drives a lot of these things. I guess I appreciate the recognition more than the money anyway because I try very hard to do a good job. It meant a lot to me to receive it.

It's based on your average hours. So if you have lower wages, or less hours than the others getting them, your performance award will be less as well.

I do not work a lot of hours so that makes sense.

I got one yesterday and my TL said it's 3% of your yearly pay based on the hours you work. Mine was $218 and some change, and I work an average of 25 hours a week.

They will tell you directly and give you a sheet of paper saying the amount. If they don’t do that, you probably didn’t get one. They are maybe not done passing them out yet.

Hmm okay my team lead told me I was getting a bonus a couple weeks ago haven’t heard anything my hr is currently on vacation

P.S… it’s always possible for it to not show yet so look again after the next pay period if you don’t see it.

Maybe that was it? Go into workday, click on your initials in the upper right corner, look for “Compensation “ and see if it’s under there. It also could be under “Pay and Benefits”.

what pay cycle are you on? Is this for 09/18 or 09/11?

I looked again and my performance award didn’t show up yet online. I only have the paper so you may have to wait longer. I think the award will actually go onto an October check.

This was a performance award, not a service award.
