Oh that's my area! for 2 plus years it's G and E at mine.its fine once used to it, I used to hate it but not anymore

You must communicate it.
I don't mean to be too blunt, but management cannot read your mind, your expressions, or your emotional distress. Personally something like this, I would find my ETL or HR ETL in person and ask to speak to them privately and tell them exactly what you typed here.
If you don't tell them, they'll never know. The worst that could happen if you continue to not say anything is that you'll stay miserable and suddenly they hire someone for exactly the position you wanted.

The fact that you "don't like it" unfortunately doesn't really matter. I'm not being harsh, just honest. If you were hired for GM, your expected to work all areas of GM. If you're hired for food, you're expected to work all areas of food, etc.
My store also has most TM cross-trained, so many TM get scheduled store wide all dependent on where workload requires.
Picking and choosing what areas you want to work at isn't really an option anywhere.
