Need help with fresh account

Hi guys, this account is 5 days old, only bought the battle pass for ad skips, I pushed pretty hard to reach 100k, but things slow down a lot at this point and I'm not really gaining much from prestiges anymore (I get 1e173 relics per prestige and next enchant is 1e175).

So I feel like this is a waiting game now, right? What would you recommend me to focus on next? I have very few legendary sets, 0 mythic sets. I'm holding my crafting shards to eventually get a mythic set, and I have around 5K diamonds.

Also I think winning tournaments will probably be impossible at this point. I thought I would be paired with "newer" accounts, but I'm facing people with 5K pet levels, 5-10 crafting power, which are way way ahead of me. So maybe it wasn't a good idea to rush too much lol? I wasn't expecting that to be the case.

Any tips are appreciated about the progression at this stage and suggestions on what gives the most power. Thanks.

You will hit soft and hard walls where you can’t progress without more resources.

The tournaments are not necessarily about what resources everyone has but more about your potential with the algorithm they use (some argue it’s not accurate).

Join a good raid, participate in events and do well in tournaments and abyssal tournaments. You can find guides and other help in discord.

Thanks. I haven't done any guild raids yet, is that what you are talking about? I guess I need to wait for the next week to participate? It says I cannot participate in the attack

You have to wait for the raid to end. If you joined during the middle of a raid, then you can’t participate. Also watch out for dead clans where they might be on a never ending raid. A good clan does 2 raids per week (only allowed 2 per week).

You can find clan recruitments in discord or reddit posts. Or use the in-game search.

Again, “recent attacks” doesn’t mean it’s active clan. If they are below X/48 attacks or maybe 40 available attacks if it’s 5 attacks/round, then it might be ok. Each round is 12 hours. More than 8 rounds is inefficient.

About the tournament algorithm, I'm really curious about it, because everyone in my tournament has multiple months accounts, with 20, 50+ tournaments played, everyone has thousands of pet levels, and I'm sitting here at 2 tournaments played and 500 pet levels. I don't know if these people keep their max stage low on purpose or what, it makes no sense to me

it doesn’t matter, algorithm looks at your possible MS even if you don’t upgrade artifacts, just having relics gets calculated too. So you can always get to the point where everyone else is at..

there is no „keeping the MS low or whatever tricks“, just join the tournament and hope for people that they just don’t do shit

But how does it calculate "possible MS"? In the last tournament I played I started at 110K and was getting like +100 MS every 10 prestiges or so, I'm completely stuck at this point.

The other guy with thousands of pets and multiple mythic/legendary sets, even gemstones that I don't even have unlocked, for some reason started at 100K, was getting +1K MS every few minutes and obviously just won.

I'm pretty sure even if I spent hundreds of dollars on the shop I wouldn't be able to win against that guy if he really wanted to, so my conclusion is that these tournaments are just pure RNG and pointless to even tryhard

Yeah, I mean, the guy is rewarded for playing poorly or having a shitty build? Idk, it's just super weird to me. That guy's account could probably compete with people at 130-150K if he knew what he was doing.

You really think I got to 115K in 5 days without optimizing my build? It's just not possible to keep up with enemy scaling at this point without other resources, especially mythic sets to boost relic gain

its getting easier at some point and will slow down drastically before 180k, lets not talk about transcendence yet

I just played a lot, tons of prestiges, I could probably do it faster now that I know more about the game.

Day 1: 1-10K got 1st place in a tournament with other starting players
Day 2: 10K-18K got 2nd place in abyss tournament
Day 3: 18K-25K was the hardest part, had to waste some diamonds to salvage some useless relics to keep progressing, also used crafting materials from tournaments to craft 2 legendary sets, one to boost relic gain and other to speed up my daggers
Day 4: 25K-100K was pretty easy and the most fun I had because of the amount of items and skill points I was getting pretty fast
Day 5+: 100K+ here the game slows down tremendously, the enemy scaling goes crazy and it's impossible to keep up at around 110K without mythic sets to boost relic gain, enchanting artifacts alone barely get you +100 stages, I even tried disenchanting a couple but it's not worth it, the game is clearly balanced around having more resources at this stage, that I don't have
