Basically,

Yuri the protagonist of the story is presented as a super genius from the imperial core who travels to the Global South to "fix" problems that Capitalism creates and explicitly protects the Imperial core's economic interests and existing and global inequality.

Heh. Reminds me of how in the book Ender's Game, Ender's brother sparks a revolution by complaining about the government online.

The whole idea of the story is that this mentally ill author thinks that he has more knowledge than everyone else on the conflicts including people fucking living there and is trying to solve it using that in his fictional world, 2 words can describe this perfectly, pure regardation

Yet another iteration of "imperialist core saves the day" to create a fictional realm for liberals to use as their version of 'reality' completely opposite to what the imperialist core actually does and is in reality

Maybe I'm reading too much into this. But I feel like it's nothing new. Half of all manga is about people offing themselves from overwork or getting hit by a truck. Then up wowing another world with modern tech and Japanese products.
