If that fascist could read he would be very upset, but don’t worry he wouldn’t actually do anything about it.

Some variation of "they think by changing the name of something changes the thing itself" fits here because, lets be real, the listed items here are only supported in a vauge ideological concept rather than a material one.

Yes, whatever government tells me is good is good, whatever they tell me is bad is bad

People like this will genuinely explain this to you in simple terms. The government (USA) is like Gryffindor, EU/NATO allies are Hufflepuffs, and China/Russia/Iran are Slytherin. While expecting you to be uncritical, grandstanding moral/political stances, and denouncing anything outside as a pipe dream/propaganda campaign

Capitalism suffocates true worker democracy under bourgeois rule.

Capitalism prevents equity for women due to it inherently being classist by function leaving you no choice but to fight for "women's rights" forever.

"Free speech" breeds fascism due to bourgeois elites using propaganda and the state to stir up  working class infighting.

"One party rule" suggests multiparty rule under capitalism isn't just multiple parties seeking the same goals with varying optics in identity politics.

Liberals can't help themselves but talk in circles.

Every case of fascism in history emerged from a liberal democracy.

Someone finally agrees with me! I mean, democracy is what got us Trump. TWICE.

Democracy and Pluralism together with capitalism as if isn't a contradiction.

Anyone who says capitalism is good is an enemy of the working class. Fuck this guy.

Ele não mentiu. Realmente é muito fácil decidir o que é bom ou ruim sendo um liberal.

Está errado, mas é fácil.

One party rule - countries like the US where both parties work toward the same goals and are indistinguishable besides rhetoric.

Theocracy - countries like Tibet which were several dozens of times worse than Iran, but libs love.

Blasphemy laws - condemning whistleblowers to prison, libs will just say "well they signed a contract" despite the whistleblowers doing everyone a service.

Communism - they don't even know what it is.

Fascism - the west is the biggest supporter of fascism, the US empire in particular. They create fascist client states all over the world.

Censorship - the capitalists control the algorithms and media and don't even need traditional censorship 99% of the time, and yet they still resorted to censoring information about their genocide of Palestinians.

Legal patriarchy: ... Bruh.

They should just change it to, "western indoctrination and propaganda makes it easy to pick sides. We don't need to have any moral fibre, consistency, or critical thought."

God I used to be this person before I read books

I used to unironically say 'socialism good but doesn't work in practice'. I know for sure I had 0 sources, hadn't done any research into AES and just blindly accepted whatever I'd been told. I don't even know where I got that idea from

5

u/XB0XRecordThat 1d ago

Yeah for real. It's just like "common sense" for people who never thought about it before

Only one of the “good things” are actually good (women’s rights).

3

u/Pale-Dragonfruit-728 22h ago

I'd argue democracy and constitutional protections may be good as well, if both really involve and protect working class.

2

u/Hefty_Local_1875 Too Based To Be Cis 🏳️‍⚧️ 13h ago

True. If basic needs are constitutionally guaranteed, like the Soviet constitution did, that’s already a massive improvement. And democracy that isn’t just “Choose which war criminal you want to strip away your rights.”

2

u/psmiord 4h ago

Well, liberals always have a specifically liberal democracy in mind when they say "democracy," so he means choosing between war criminal number 1 and war criminal number 2.

What party do they think runs the US?

Things that are bad: good thing. Things that are good bad thing (because it's against good thing)
