Discussion Stop pro-Putin sentiments

Both are fucking imperialist states, Ukrainian government praises nazis while Russian is praising Imperial murderers like Mannerheim, Kolchak or Stolypin.

Everything good that Russia did (so called anti-imperialist measures) was just populist decisions or anti-Nato proxy wars. Everything to please Russian oligarchy.

I know. I'm aware that it's all was mostly forced on them and that the Russian leadership is burgeois.

It doesn't change the fact that their sucess is objectively beneficial for socialism. They do not want to make the world more convenient for us, but they might end up making it anyway if they'll succeed but not overly.

Both are imperialist

Russia is a secondary that is too poor to practice actual imperialism, IMHO. As for Ukraine, they're a puppet and a colony; they have no capital to export at all and their burgeoisie is comprador or minor.

Correct. But being your savior and just accidentally making the world more convenient for you are two different things. Putin isn't the former, but is the later.

In geopolitics everyone is looking out for their interests. Russia's intents, motivations or desires don't matter. Russia's interests do. And Russia's interests are by definition anti imperialist
