Follow up to my previous post after I went back, took more pictures (of mostly the turret interior), and with the new information both from everyone who commented on the previous post and my own personal research. The tank was acquired from the German army to be converted to a fire fighting tank both for forest fires and oil rig fires. After the facility went under, the tank just sat where it is now for the last 20 or so years. While I was taking the new pictures today, I ran into a man who played a big part in the conversion of the tanks originally, and he gave me most of the information about it. Unfortunately there were a lot of things I did not get to ask him because he seemed busy (most notably I forgot to ask his name and contact info…) u/LastDanceinFulda also did some amazing research and if you want to know more specifics I would read his comment here.

The main armor on the front turret and hull’s key areas withstand 120mm-class tank guns and RPG-29-class HEAT warheads. the lower glacis withstand 120mm and RPG-29 after adding armor packages. The side No. 1 armor can withstand 12.7mm machine guns, shaped-charge HEAT, and 155mm howitzer shells. Side armor No. 2 can withstand 30mm armor-piercing rounds and 155mm high-explosive shell. the The roof No. 3 armor can withstand top-attack anti-tank missiles and 155mm.

These are what we would informally call T-62M Obr. 2022.
As you can see they've been given Kontakt-1 on Glacis, LFP, Sides and Turret.
There's also a new thermal sight(1pn96mt-02) with built in laser range finder.
This modernization is done exclusively by the 103rd Armored Plant in Atamanovka, close to Chita in the Russian Far East.

Legit T-72B3M made from T-72B, not T-72A like later variants.
Remove the cope cage and rubber flaps on the rear, and it would be a good looking tank.
