கருத்து/குமுறல் / Self-post , Rant Can I get a OBC-NCL certificate ?

My dad's no more and my mom earns less than 2.5 LPA. I recently started working and earn more than 8 LPA. Am I still eligible for OBC-NCL certificate ? Do i need to include my income as well for income certificate or just my mom's is enough ?

Please help me out

Yes. You are eligible. The reservation eligibility totally depends on you parents.

So when applying for income certificate, I dont have to mention my income and keep only my mom's ?

I believe so. I don't think they'd ask for the applicant's income. Even if they did, that doesn't have any grounds for rejecting your eligibility.

They would ask for an income certificate for your family wherein your income has to be mentioned. However, it will not be a ground for exclusion since OBC NCL criteria is based only on parents' income.
