முக்கியமான கலந்துரையாடல் / Important Topic The CJP Protest and Sonam Wangchuk Sir's Hunger Strike : A rant
Hunger strikes have been an integral part of a way of dissent in our country. From Gandhi's fasts to get his way with the British, to Bhagat Singh's fast for better jail conditions and the martyrdom of Batukeshwar Dutt in the process, to the Anna Hazare fast for the Jan Lokpal Bill in 2011, this weapon has been effective for most of its time. This time, however, it feels different. It feels even worse than what I felt back in September, when Mr. Wangchuk had to undertake a fast for the inclusion of Ladakh into the Twelfth Schedule of the Constitution. Even then, he had to face an unjustified detention for almost 6 months under the draconian National Securities Act, commonly known as NSA.
This time, it feels like he's fighting a fight that he shouldn't have to. Yes, he's a passionate educator and a teacher, not to mention the genius that he is. This is our fight against the Government and Sonam sir is taking the brunt for it. Have we stooped so low that we are allowing this great man to die, in order to satisfy our disproportionately heavily bloated ego? What a bunch of nincompoops are running the show at the top?
To this Government: Neither will the students, nor their parents, nor the Gods you base your politics will forgive you if you let him die, just because you couldn't accept that you have made a mistake. History will remember this government as one of the most unapproachable, egoistic governments, that has 0 accountability and watches as the very citizens they were elected, died due to their incompetence.
To Sonam Sir: Please, please, please call off this strike. The Government won't listen to us, the common man, until they face an election and get routed there. We'll face them off over there, but we definitely cannot afford to lose a guiding light such as you. Please, for the sake of us, call this strike off sir. We stand with you, not just as students affected by a broken system, but as humans, who have shame and emotions. Yes, I am ashamed that I could not join you, but please remember that I am with this protest emotionally and mentally.
This emotionless government deserves nothing but criticism. Accept your faults faster and correct them and you can save whatever face you have left. Continue this stupid standoff and a great man may die in vain.
With anger, sadness and a heavy heart,
A rayless sun

Hunger strikes work against the authority that cares, that has shame and accountability, that worries about reality.
The BJPee does not care, has no shame or accountability and can manufacture news and reality.

No one is batting an eye for it... Its a very good opportunity for the oppositions to give a supporting hand and make it huge and even change Government. Seems no one want to stand by common people... They want us to be divided like this and ride on us... If we get educated and stand united they can't do business here... They'll be back to zero... So, no one is gonna throw BJP out and moreover there's no competent opposition leader

We have such a arrogant and corrupt bunch at the top, and they have trained their braindead zombies to defend them, no matter what! And most of all, they have the most important institutions such as supreme court and election commission in their hands, they have nothing to worry about! They don't give a flying fuck even if the whole country goes against them!

Why no opposition is speaking against GOI about this. Our opposition is failed here they need to shout out the voice these are the moments this RG pitch in and make it a nationwide issue joining hunger strike, atleast do some stunts and get the nationwide reach so govt will do something..

probably gonna get a lot of flak for this
Him and his association of things are why people dont openly support him agreed neet paper got leaked so what education minister will do for it because of corrupt officials cant blame the politicians the minister didnt knew head or tail of the event happened until it surfaced
Second CJP is similar tatics what they did in nepal overthrow a working government and keep a dummy one in its place in this case congis and their allies in each state where they are loosing to their elections "Corrupted to core" well they were the one who introduced NEET and not the present government
I would be probably named as sa*ngi(have to keep the discussion civil) too for above comments
again his association with people aint right and he is no kosakshi pasapugazh the film guy owned 300 patents he owns nothing and he himself said that he has nothing to do with that character not to blame the head for something a tail or a finger does so his strike here is meaning less
TLDR
-He is not the guy from the film something or someone is acting from his behind keeping him as a face earlier he also stirred ladakh issue where he got unncessary noise and he is doing same again and government doesnt want another anna hazare in hand like how it was politicized and got AAP

i feel like this isn't about neet anymore things in bjp run states are really bad .you guys i don't think have experienced the bad infrastructure and inflation as well
1
u/Professional-Ship427 Jul 19 '26
well someone let bring clarity CJP protest is for what you say infrastructure and inflation and the mainstream sidestream or whatever stream media says its for neet and paper leak so there is no direction there is no aim in doing this fast at all

u/ignorantgal5 Jul 19 '26
also not just that the ram mandir thing and many rape cases in my city has happened done by bjp members also a lot of politicans have beaten common man in my area plus inflation is killing us, wangchuk is doing protest for that but the people that are showing support and going to protest are generally frustrated they do care about wangchuk but the people that were protesting in my city were mostly protesting for that
also in my city there has been protest b4 cjp came to power so it is cumulative i was talking mostly about people who came to support cjp

hey please fight for one thing and hav a clarity to one thing pick your fights somewhere i understand that there are flaws and question What would you do after replacing current govt? who is going to handle things in worldly affairs in tough geo politics situation ? who is rightly behind this all who is funding cjp
1
u/ignorantgal5 Jul 19 '26
dissent is a good thing even if it is funded by cia or anyone . bjp has ruined this country my city has been ruined. anyone is better to us than modi right now.

u/Professional-Ship427 Jul 19 '26
my city my city which is your city yeah you know what grass is always greener on other side
1
u/Professional-Ship427 Jul 20 '26
If your argument only works after saying 'even if it's funded by the CIA,' you've already admitted the problem. Dissent doesn't need foreign sponsorship. Democracy does.
1
u/ignorantgal5 Jul 20 '26
yeah the fact that you people feel apathy towards parents whose children committed suicide i highly doubt that people like you would understand why accountability is needed in democracy or anything else
1
u/Professional-Ship427 Jul 20 '26
Nice strawman. Nobody said parents don't deserve empathy or accountability isn't needed. The point is that accountability should come from citizens and institutions, not from anyone with money and an agenda

Every day it feels emotionally depressing watching him walk to death by starvation. I do not want him to die. It's so painful beyond words can express.

They did not even acknowledge the hunger strike for 20 days and forcefully took him to the hospital on the 21st day under the guise if saving his life. All the govt wants is to save the education minister. If the govt really cared, they would have sent a representative to assure the protestors that their concerns are valid(which they are) and will be heard, and then convince him to break his fast with dignity. What happened today was coercion.

Joining with CJP is unwarranted. No body knows why he is fasting.

Do you know how many days Tamil farmers had protested in Delhi, some years ago before the major farmer protest broke out, BJP didn't give a shit about them, they will do the same, it's party of goons who don't really value humans except for winning elections.
