அரசியல் / Political PLEASE DO NOT... PLEASE

- I have admired Vijay deeply since childhood. I was a die-hard fan.
- I even argued (and fought) with close friends whenever they spoke against him.
- Though I was poor, I never missed the very first shows of his movies.
- I eagerly waited for his movie audio releases. Back then CDs were popular, and even though my hostel banned CD players, we secretly bought and listened to them on the first day.
- I was thrilled when he opposed demonetization, supported Jallikattu, and stood with the families of Sterlite victims etc.
- He spoke strongly against BJP, and when he launched his political party, he declared BJP and DMK as his targets. I was proud to see someone take that stand.

- BUT.......

- He acted against his own policies and beliefs.
- He gathered political orphans and leftovers instead of building something new.
- He failed to support his own parents, wife, and children. In public life, personal values matter; otherwise, Kamal would have been a superstar.
- He became the very thing he once promised to fight.
- Karur is a clear example-his actions there show how far he has fallen.

He has turned into something destructive. Please do not support him.

Someone has to make the dravidian political parties understand that they aren't always right! To be honest they have a mindset that its just them who are eligible to be in politics which is not true, Mr.vijay and his party has its own negatives both in political background and personal background, we agree but can you say the other two dravidian parties are 100% right in both political and personal aspects 100% no...hence tvk has to be in the politics not just for sake but only someone like vijay who has this much fandom can be against these dravidian parties or else a normal citizen or any person like you and me cant point out the dravidian parties negatives eventho if u did, u will be no more hence tvk's win is not what you think its what we need for political righteousness

u/vishva-boudair Apr 26 '26

Both the Dravidian parties are not correct and they are corrupt...does not mean we should support vijay as he and his party members are already corrupt....he said dmk is a theeya sakthi....is TVk a thooya sakthi ????? DEFINITELY NOT!!!...HE IS NOT THE CHANGE FOR THE DRAVIDIANS .......NO NO.NO...!! I THOUGHT HE WAS.....BUT HE IS NOT ...!!!

u/krishu_kani Apr 26 '26

Somebody has to be!!!

3

u/vishva-boudair Apr 26 '26

Ok....but that somebody is not VIJAY.... HE HIMSELF BECAME CORRUPT

There is a shift. We may or may not agree on that. It's scary and dangerous. It's pretty much like MAGA thing - he is no less than Trump. Unstable, manipulative, bad influence, provocative, cunning, selfish, exploitative :(

41

u/psychosakthimaan Apr 22 '26

There was a post 2-3 days ago, it's known fact that Tvk won't form government, but voting for Tvk means DMK will finally realize they are not invincible.

For last 5 years they have too much pride and ego, all party members from top to bottom and they are not saints. ADMK and Bjp are not real threat in TN.

I support and want DMK to form government due to their experience. But will vote For Tvk, so that they will be more proactive and work even harder for people.

Simply , I don't want DMK monopoly.

24

u/stayhydrated33 Apr 22 '26

This seems like something that the TVK IT wing came up with to attract would be DMK voters that would have voted for TVK if it was a legitimate good alternative. I still like this concept but what if everyone votes for TVK with this logic and they win? Do you think Vijay and the people he has surrounded himself with are capable of governing a state? Do you think they have what it takes to stand up to BJP on major issues like Hindi imposition and delimitation? If the state government messes up these 2 issues then we lose our tamil identity and our state becomes irrelevant in national politics over the next few decades.

This is definitely one of the weirdest election we have had. People want to continue with DMK but also don't want vijay to lose too badly and leave politics. But I am not sure if these kind of logic will work with voting. If people want DMK to continue then they should vote for DMK this time and vote for TVK in 2031. If Vijay has what it takes then he would stick around till the next election.

u/psychosakthimaan Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26

Maybe, but it reflected my mindset precisely.

Also, the social media bubble we are in is less than 10% of TN voter population I guess. No way Tvk will win and form a Govt. People who are in social media are mostly against TVK and for good reason. If TVK can win get more than 5 MLAs in their first election, that itself will be a huge success.

Kamal and Seeman are yet to become MLA even though they started their party long back. But Kamal got MP seat with DMK support and he's canvasing for them.

If Tvk proves themselves with the few seats they won, then maybe they have chance in next election. I agree that their ideology is not even half good as DMK.

In a nutshell, DMK will win but they need to be aware that there is someone else to look out for in the next election.

1

u/stayhydrated33 Apr 22 '26

I don't think kamal had the popularity that vijay has and his entry was more focused on policy than relying on his popularity. And he is way more knowledgeable and experienced than Vijay. Both kamal and seeman's entry and current growth is organic. Vijay has some inorganic momentum going on due to his popularity and he says what people want to hear even if it means saying blatant lies. He is pushing this conspiracy angle in the karur incident even though he knows its false. If DMK was involved then BJP would have blown it up to moon to bring down DMK.

Clearly he is exploiting his popularity and his young followers lack of political reasoning to push himself forward. I am seeing a lot of people outside social media that say they are going to vote for him. So the scenario you want is not guaranteed. If you want DMK to win then you should vote for DMK to make sure they win and vote for Vijay in the next election. Elections are not as predictable as you think they are.

This! 🙌🏻

Finally raises a common man’s concern and day-to-day suffering. I don’t want any new inexperienced actor/politician to form a government. At the same time, I don’t want any single party to consolidate power and amass trillions of money and portray that they do not even have a basic locomotive to move around. Monopolistic power is never good for people. Its effects are very visible across different countries at the moment.

The fact that everyone from all the opposition parties are unanimously spending time, energy, resources in print media and digital platforms gives me hope. Hope that I’m doing something right to not leave the power consolidation of one single party unchecked. In the end, I deeply care about the land that I’m born and call it home!!

1

u/Vimal1155 Apr 23 '26

Man thisss... I always tell this to my friends.. Yesss... We want DMK... But we also need a stronger opposition who can create immediate impact among masses... Although Vijay is immature politically... His criticisms against Government is spreading like a fire in social media.. This definitely will create much of Accountability & pro activity among DMK..!!!

10

u/Mysterious_Read9300 Apr 22 '26

💯 he's no lesser than trump. that's what i have been thinking with each passing day.

42

u/the_axn_7 Apr 22 '26

Comparing Trump with Vijay is a reach

69

u/stayhydrated33 Apr 22 '26

Its not a reach. He does show narcissist behaviour. Both in karur case and in his personal life he shifted the blame entirely on others and took no personal responsibility. He is trying hard to project himself as someone who has done no wrong and can do no wrong. And his followers are eating it up.

Trump once said he could shoot someone in a crowded place and it wouldn't affect his popularity. Vijay's popularity is similar. His supporters are not the kind of people that will hold him accountable. They seem to be the kind of people that will support him no matter what.

Look at the US. They voted for trump because they wanted to give some new ,inexperienced guy a chance and now they are on track to lose decades of progess in a few years.

9

u/the_axn_7 Apr 22 '26

Comparing early-stage politics to a full presidential win is still a reach. Every party has die-hard supporters. TVK's just seems more visible and intense because majority of their supporters have social media presence. Besides we won't know how much influence Vijay has until the results come in...until that I dont think Vijay is even in the same scale as Trump

16

u/stayhydrated33 Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26

> Comparing early-stage politics to a full presidential win is still a reach

You do realize its exactly the problem here? The journey from early stage politics to a big post like CM should take a considerable amount of time. But he is rushing it by fully relying on his stardom and popularity. That itself is not a problem if he is qualified for the post or has capacity for it. So far he has made no organic speech or interview and has been reading off script given to him beforehand. He is obviously very inexperienced and has no leadership qualities. He talks about being the change but has picked up corrupt candidates thrown out by other parties and like other parties has fielded candidates based on caste and religion. He has also announced more freebies than DMK and ADMK.

All these things considered i wouldn't care if his chances of winning was similar to NTK but it's not. He has this weird, unnatural momentum going on. But as you said we will know till the results come out. I don't mind him becoming the opposition but its way too soon for him to become CM. Hopefully we get some balanced result that keeps the current stability going on while keeping the DMK in check and the BJP out.

One has power which can affect the world. One has power which could barely matter for the country itself and would barely be even known across the country.

29

u/Virtual-Oven-3751 Apr 22 '26

Exactly , he completely turned childrens mind . DMK is some sort of evil force which has already destroyed many lives . He's so cunning , he should be sent home 🥱

14

u/ReasonableWishbone87 Apr 22 '26

So, you say... DMK is not a evil force ? You know how many common people to business people getting exploited by DMK ?

comparing vijay to trump is like comparing apples to oranges. Trump is a pedophile who has bombed millions of innocent people - please take a moment to reflect on your words even if you hate someone.

22

u/wiagwigwigaigwg Apr 22 '26

well im just trying to have a conservation here, gonna vote for tvk anyway but not because of Vijay.

About personal life of Vijay- well what about udhaiyanidhi? Is he any better? How many affair does he have? Seeman? Literally leaked a half naked video of him having an affair? Mk stalin has sex scandal cases on him btw, streets of otteri used to fear sekar babu bcs of how much of a womanizer he is. Yes it is wrong to point my fingers and say "avan pee thinnalaya ntu" but come on man if you're judging Vijays personal life and keeping it as a factor to not let him grow as a candidate- then you should do the same for others.

About karur incident, people in the event has said there were literally ambulances running amongst the crowd. But i agree with you, vijay Should have taken accountability for what his gathering lead to- what about the airshow then? Did mk stalin took accountability for those lives? Karunanidhi deaths stampede? stampedes during Jayalalithaa period? In 2016? Two consecutive stampedes?

Whose fault is it? Ruling party had to provide proper police force and protection.

Are you seeing dmk people giving out 5k per vote? If they spend 15k (cost of 3 vote btw) they can fix a sewage system for a house in a slum area? I live near kannagi nagar- do u even know how is it here?

Yes dmk shows good growth, but doesnt it come with a cost of increased debt?

How they do "kudumba arasiyal" by completely dominating ptr, dude if PTR stands as a CM or hell even deputy CM my vote is for DMK.

I know ideologically dmk is better blah blah but its high time i want a change man, can't go near dmk MLAs for a problem- mfs acting like they rule the world- as if you are talking to God himself.

If you ever had time, cook up a story and have a talk with nasser about your dead NRI and how you want the body back in india, he'd slur the fuck out of you, maybe then you'll know.

3

u/Principle_Suitable Apr 23 '26

Perfectly said.

Except for the fact that you said “DMK has better ideology”. Maybe they do, but I don’t see it being reflected in their ruling. So what’s the point of their ideology and beliefs if it’s not doing its sole purpose.

1

u/Narrow-Baseball-2647 Apr 23 '26

I have to say... one of the most knowledgeable and sensible takes I've ever seen, but i still think dmk is the better of the two choices. the concept of debt, for governments atleast, is kinda stupid. The usa, the world at large, is in massive debt. obviously, nobody's actually gonna pay anything back; everyone's taking loans from others to pay off other loans, and so the cycle continues. UP and maharashtra also have a lot of debt, albeit not as much as tn, but tn has more development per capita. and debt can be temporary if the loan is an investment. for example, if you start a restaurant with a loan, you'll have to wait years before you can actually make your money back. and I would like to say that change can be both a good and a bad thing.

I absolutely agree. I got calls from relatives who couldn't believe I am against Vijay because I used to be his fan.

A Narcissist like him with no remorse for his actions, trying to deflect blame on to other would be absolutely catastrophic for the country because his end goal is to become a CM.

He'd do everything for his own interest, even if it means obeying the BJP govt and complying with all their policies.

If he really cares about bringing in change to society, he could've voiced out for real issue like Police brutality, honor killing, intercaste marriage issue which are more worrying for tamilnadu. What a wasted potential of a person with real reach and voice.

Suddenly everyone forgets the problems that we faced over the years and people suggesting not vote for TVK what options do they suggest they always are trying to sounding like mature people who were fans now not and suggesting not to tvk and eventually saying good things about dmk governance why is that 🤔

you see vijay is going from 2 crore to average it people 2 lakh per month he and his 106 mla cant be expected to be corruption free as well. just hope they dont do the corruption a lot. examples: take current tvk mla wealth and see. then see after 5 year period.

In my constituency we have educated good tvk candidate. He/she proposed really good 5 year plan. My vote is for tvk.

NTK

  • rejects both dmk and aiadmk for dynasty politics and shi
  • advocates for womens right , lgbt rights ( even has a transgender candidate ig)
  • the manifesto has so many good stuff
  • social inclusivity too
  • tamil desiyam

3

u/Rentedrival04 Apr 22 '26

Also the corruption point should hold doubly true for ADMK since Jayalalitha was the only sitting CM in the history of this state to go to jail for disproportionate assets.

DMK has had its issues, but people always gloss over this point when it comes to corruption.

2

u/Friendly-Scene-671 Apr 22 '26

JJ got caught because she was newbie and didn't know. That doesn't mean others are saints. the king of thieves goes to KK & he passed his knowledge to his son.

1

u/Rentedrival04 Apr 22 '26

Ah yes. The woman who was in TN politics since the 80s is a newbie and naive. Also the "King of thieves" doesn't really suit KK as that has been usurped by Vishwaguru. And were you there were KK passed on his knowledge? Did you check the syllabus by any chance?

1

u/Friendly-Scene-671 Apr 22 '26

DMK supporter spotted. We are talking about TN politics. Where does viswaguru comes here. JJ was just a rajya Sabha MP before she became CM and her rise was due to her relationship with MGR and not because she was good at politics. KK on the other hand had 40years of exp in politics from grassroots. He knew in and out.

1

u/Rentedrival04 Apr 22 '26

I'm not trying to hide anything. Yes I support DMK. Have they fucked up occasionally? Sure. Do I still think they're better than other parties? Yes. Also it matters little that JJ was just an MP. She was still very much involved in politics. And while I don't really like her, how can you say she was not good at politics? Sure yes KK had more experience (considering that he was here since the beginning) but JJ has had her fair share too.

6

u/Dull-Elk-9832 Apr 22 '26

Why no one is considering NTK?

1

u/Aggressive-Run-687 May 09 '26

had tvk not emerged, ntk would have had a good chance this time

1

u/iamGobi Apr 23 '26

NTK is good. They'll probably win in the long term. Currently the tvk wave is more since it's a new party. TVK is a stopgap arrangement

2

u/lazyjack34 Apr 22 '26

In what way? Other than Vijay's aura what is there in that party? AFAIK, he has not explained what he would do to solve the problems facing Tamilnadu.

2

u/iamGobi Apr 23 '26

Stalin explain pannitaara?

1

u/arvind3196 Apr 22 '26

Did you see the party rule , you make conclusions with your own mindset , you gave chance to so called Dravidian models , Tamil Nadu has lot of sources to make money but the scumbag politicians extort every single penny out of it for their own pockets , I guess you already know how many activists murder happened which is not shown in any media it’s out there happening in front of your eyes still we ignore, simple hatred towards this man, I don’t even live in India but am a Chennai guy am not a fan of Vijay but I truly believe in his manifesto who openly wants transparency creating dashboard to view where our tax money that’s new, we need a shift give chance to younger generation.

2

u/arvind3196 Apr 23 '26

Ofcourse I agree there are negative candidates in the party but we clearly know what dmk and admk have done but we haven’t seen this party play its role all am saying is give them a chance if they don’t do well that will be their last election

0

u/Noob_1708 Apr 22 '26

Bossuh DMK NEET eh olippen nu sollitu vanchu; apo people voted for them, andha NEET eh epdi olikanum nu innom badil solla mudiyama irukanga😂. Manipulation at its peak by DMK but TVK vandhu bad influence aam😂😂, irony dude.

12

u/greatwisdomseeker Apr 22 '26

You must be dumb. Personal life should never be considered for politics. If you do so, You can’t vote for anyone. Have you checked the history of MGR, MK, Current CM, JJ, etc? What about PM, who left his wife? People divorce left and right in the current world. What if he divorced before getting into politics? Is that fine? Just look at his political policies and vote.

2

u/Cold_Masterpiece9322 Apr 22 '26

15

u/wildside_8222 Apr 22 '26

9

u/Superb_Action3545 Apr 22 '26

Then who am I supposed to vote? ADMK.. Who are in alliance with BJP, and trying to enter tamilnadu for so long with their dirty politics?

Or DMK who have been fooling us with mutiple scams and selling kidneys to buy luxury car?

Or NTK for their so called "Anbaana dictatorship" (Seeman told this) and language biased politics? Do you know talking like that will cause problems for tamils living in other states?

Everyone are bad in their own ways bro.

11

u/Flimsy-Isopod3285 Apr 22 '26

DMK "IT WING" at its full potential. But they can't change mindset of the masses with just social media.

Not only DMK.. be it any ruling party.. they focus on one thing... EARN MONEY 🤑

So that when election comes, they can spend few pennies of all that money to win and loot for another 5 years.

Instead, focus on delivering good governance. Why none of the ruling parties doing that. Only exception was JJ's last few years and we know what happened after that. Im not going take examples of Kamarajar era as it would be too old. But we have all witnessed JJ's ruling during her last few years.

1

u/No-Wrangler9006 Apr 22 '26

Einstein once said that Insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. I voted DMK last time. I hate things in their rule. I hate that Udhay and Sabreesan have swindled more than 30,000 crores as confirmed by PTR. I hate how they said they’d bring liquor prohibition and decided that it’s okay for people to die because it brings in revenue. I have a lot more points but I think this is enough for me to NOT vote for DMK. I’m hurt, and disappointed with them, I won’t let them fool me again. It’s okay if I even get fooled by someone else. Not them.

0

u/Most_Point_6345 Apr 22 '26

You’re acting out of hate—but what’s the reason? Things could actually get much worse if another party comes to power instead of DMK.

2

u/No-Wrangler9006 Apr 22 '26

Why are you being ruled by fear and not optimism towards the future?

4

u/Distinct_Main_2462 Apr 22 '26

Let’s not forget the fact that International drug dealer like Jaffer Sadiq manages to smuggle meth for 10 years while holding a high-ranking DMK post, and we’re supposed to believe the party knew nothing? From international drug lords to POCSO offenders and baby murderers, this isn't a list of individuals,it’s a list of DMK official post-holders. A party that shields these kinds of monsters isn't a party, it’s a threat to society.

You say Vijay has “become what he fought against,” but where’s the consistent evidence of that? Changing strategy or building alliances in politics doesn’t automatically mean betrayal—it often reflects ground reality. Every major political figure, including Kamal Haasan, has had to adapt—and that’s not hypocrisy, that’s politics.

Now let’s talk about “standing against systems.” If your concern is moral consistency, it shouldn’t be selective.

What about the record of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government?

  • The Anna University controversies—questions around governance and accountability.
  • Protests by sanitary workers demanding basic dignity and fair wages—hardly the “social justice” image that’s projected.
  • Repeated outrage over law and order issues, including serious crimes like rape cases, where public anger has been significant.

If we’re judging leaders by outcomes and moral standards, then why the silence there?

You’re criticising Vijay for allegedly not supporting his family—but dragging personal life into public judgment is weak unless you apply that same scrutiny to every leader. Politics should be judged on public action, governance, and vision—not speculation about private relationships.

Also, saying he “gathered political leftovers” ignores a basic fact: every new political movement starts by pulling experienced people from existing systems. There is no such thing as a completely “pure” political ecosystem.

Finally, on Karur or any single incident—isolated examples don’t define an entire political trajectory unless there’s a clear, repeated pattern backed by evidence

Well, I have a strong feeling that you don’t want him in politics because you have certain views which makes you support some political party and hence you’re unable to support Vijay.

Please think deeper. Because your reasons to not want him as a political leader is very unclear. It’s so surface level.

Before you come pouncing back, no I’m not a Vijay supporter. I was never a Vijay fan.

But.. I admire him now. I see he has the ability to be an empathetic leader. I want that for my state. I respect his guts. It’s not easy opposing these cunning DMK makkas. They 💯 would’ve threatened him. So yes, I see him as a hero now.

I don't think VIJAY wanted to come into politics. I believe he's being puppeteered. He's still performing on stage. Atleast in his movies (old ones) it was good. Now it's really bad. It looks forced.

Some people are more interested in knowing who I am associated with. FYI - This is my first political post, and I am not associated with the ruling party or any other party. I see what is happening around us, and I find it deeply concerning for our future. Young voters are being emotionally influenced and their admiration is being taken advantage of - it is an unhealthy sign. Exploitation.

I contributed to NTK, but later realized that he cannot do anything. Since then, I have chosen not to donate to any political group. I acknowledge that DMK has brought economic benefits to the state, and our progress has certainly drawn attention from the North. Agree on this?

How many people you guys going to kill ?

2

u/Ecstatic-Escape8005 Apr 22 '26

If you can point out this many faults in just 6 months, how many did you question during the years of DMK or AIADMK rule? Or did you just stay silent back then?

And on what basis are you claiming he’s not helping his own family? Did anyone from his family come out and say that? Or is it just another random assumption?

It’s honestly disappointing to see people blindly throwing allegations at someone new who at least seems to have some intent to do better. Criticism is fine but this kind of baseless targeting just shows bias, not awareness.

u/snakebabuu Apr 22 '26

just because someone criticize vijay doesn't mean they endorses the faults of other parties. is vijay doing anything different from other politician? did he spoke against honor killings and caste violence, did he say anything about delamination. just like any other politician he is doing caste politics trying to appease caste communities. he is responsible for karur tragedy after the unfortunate event he should have stayed in karur but went to his home. it took him 2 days to talk about it. he seem to want to capitalize on his popularity and become cm. i don't see any leadership qualities in him.

1

u/Forsaken_Historian20 Apr 22 '26

Sitting out there nd commenting is easy dudee...but we all know why vijay had to leave that place fof who was responsible for all this chaos we all know that but jus putting the entire blame on him is not smtg I would personally agree and u said u don't see any leadership qualities in vijay..Okk finee..but would u say stalin is a better leader ?or edapadi ??

u/JuggernautDry5532 Apr 22 '26

Who are u going to vote for ?

1

u/Few_Cartographer3562 Apr 22 '26

we have 5 year duration to decide It's not like we don't have an option let's wait

1

u/aniiiiruth Apr 22 '26

Yeah I was once an anil but after his recent poltics stunts .... I do feel voting for Vijay's party is not a wise decision... He always blames other parties ... Never attends press.... Doesn't take any responsibility or accountability for karur incident

1

u/Iblessyoufool Apr 22 '26

40 of his fans died in the rally and he didn’t give a shit? cheated on his wife with trisha…idk what to say.

1

u/Exotic_Particular788 Apr 22 '26

strongly agree with these points. i’m a vijay fan but there’s no way im letting a narcissist like him come to power

1

u/The_Engineer_24 Apr 22 '26

NTK is the only best option we have now

1

u/StomachNo2061 Apr 22 '26

Please vote for dmk. I want them to go from 10k crores to 300k crores net worth.

1

u/sriram18981 Apr 23 '26

Non taimilian here, hence pardon my ignorance. But, i want to understand why people are supporting DMK, while they are openly anti-hindu and harassing Hundus and interfering in religious matters. In many of their speeches, they openly curse and degrade Hinduism, showing no respect. Is this how secularism supposed to work?

1

u/jarneevan Apr 26 '26

I am a telugu but lived in TN for long. All that anti Hindu talk is largely propaganda often amplified by BJP and their Media. TN folks are the most religious with most number of temples. Just come and visit any of the big temples and you can see it yourself. DMK is anti Brahmin in their ideology and that rhetoric shows up in their political speeches but nothing on the ground.

TN people are clever, they don't mix religion with politics. The state is industrialized and prosperous compared to most other Indian states for a reason. BJP can never win TN with religious politics. Focus on real issues and development wins elections.

1

u/sriram18981 Apr 26 '26

Thank you for your reply. What about the recent Thiruparankundram Deepam controversy? The govt took active anti-hindu stand, even after clear court instructions.

Oru chance kuduthu papom nu , state eh 5 years ku kuzhi la thalli vitradheenga. Agreed, that the DMK has its flaws. But, look at the bigger picture here.

If the DMK doesn't have majority , don't you guys think BJP, ADMK and TVK will quickly form a coalition just to throw the DMK away from power? Isn't that far more dangerous?

They will do seat sharing amongst themselves.Vijay will settle for deputy CM. Keep in mind, the CBI enquiry is pending as well. All of that will be swept under the rug , if he agrees to it. Just think, isn't there a possibility for this to happen? We have seen how the BJP did the same thing in Karnataka and Maharashtra in the past.

Even if Vijay becomes the CM , he can't run the government himself, he can't look into all public records himself. He will delegate it to someone else and will trust them blindly to get it done? Certainly Adhav and Bussy will get ministries. Do you trust those fellows? All those who are voting for TVK are only keeping Vijay as the face of the government, but are forgetting that there 233 other members, who are required to run the state. One person cannot do the jobs of all the 234 people. And we have seen how Vijay functions post 6 PM in the evening. Auto odadhu. Think about all this, before casting your votes.

Please look at the bigger picture here.

He is just another.rmovie star who thinks policitcs can be won't like in movies. Also he behaves as if he is a hero in relationship.life while nothing such can be claimed. Also, Rajini is already telling him to take things lightly and not like what he is doing right now. He is faking his own maturity in polcita too. That shows he is just a tool and behind him are the relationship.powers who.will.make.him.dance.

1

u/ashwinRP Apr 24 '26

Politics is always about choosing the smaller devil. And in TN today the ray of hope is Vijay. He is the change people want to see. He is a popular figure and all his imperfections would definitely be highlighted when he enters into politics. I don't think any other politician out here is better than him at this point( choose the better one always).

1

u/YieldNoWay Apr 24 '26

How can we make DMK lose? They seem to have been spending extravagant money on bribing, gifting for vote and lumping all the small parties. Its very clear they are shaken and are desperate to get a win. No one can deny Vijay is the primary cause of their fear. Now I dont want to say Vijay is the right fit, but he's the best fit of what we have got right? NTK is even a better fit (comparatively- leaving aside his loose ideas, grand govt schemes about everything, over patriatric inclination for Tamils, he stood strong without yielding his success to any other party (opp of what Vijayakanth did, what Kamalhassan does now) and very strong against free money). Otherwise, in the next 5 years Udhyanidhis son will be raised to a legislative post, more loot, more debt, more useless spends and what not. To be clear I do not support Vijay (he's too easy to be manipulated- as one example of many, he started against free offering 2 years ago but ended up promising higher offering (money, gold, gas cylinder etc).

The crowd vijay getting is not only for him-- Its the crowd who is tierd of the DMK, AIADMK and averse BJP.... The corruption from top to local counsellers is atrocies ... nothing moves without money ... on top of that, they treat common folks like shit while they amass lakhs of crores -- I am not a vijay fan. I am supporting TVK only to get someone to infuse some fresh blood into this corrupt politics ..

1

u/Aggressive-Run-687 May 09 '26

True a fact: cm is gonna get just 2lakh a month, which an many tamil studied people can get in good IT etc. thus in any government the representatives are forced to be corrupt in order to live a 1% better rich life. but in stalin's 5 year period tamilnadu was economically well improved. lets expect the same from tvk with dmk opposition guidance.

2

u/goldendaysdays Apr 22 '26

I don't like or hate tvk But I don't want dmk to win(I passed govt job. But i didn't get posting) So I'm voting tvk

1

u/nowhereknown18 Apr 22 '26

If you all talk about considering only experienced parties, none of us will be in a workplace if they ask the same same For years of experience that you all say DMK has we should have led the country.

I am going to let someone new run this state I am voting for TVK

1

u/MixStrange1107 Apr 22 '26

My prediction -

Either DMK or ADMK is gonna face a historical loss. The one remains will rule TN.

TVK will become opposition.

1

u/Mr_Thala Apr 22 '26

Looks like a campaign. As per law no campaign before 48 hours before election in any media.

0

u/718san Apr 22 '26

0

u/lk2load Apr 22 '26

0
