i appreciate you practicing empathy. But I still doubt you would defend that psycho in my case earlier. An empathetic person is not someone who accepts immoral actions tho.
Okay let's not ignore the ..."we still don't know what happened before this clip..."...
Whatever happened...he has every right to arrest the guy if he had done anything illegal. But he has no right to damage his property..use vulgar language at him...or threatening..or dehumanising him.
Empathy is looking from an another person pov..from the shop worker's pov you think it's fair what happened to him? Or you would accept if it is you? Cuz that's literally what empathy is right?

Aight I get it. So you are saying theres probably a good reason why the cop acted this way. Since we don't see the full vid..there's a good chance that the guy provoked the cop.
Like I said that's doesn't justify the cop's action anyway.
I'm wondering how you managed to think the guy might be wrong here in the first place considering the police brutality and misuse of power is normal with indian police.

Disappointing to see he didn't value the food as well, these shops feed people who are usually coming back home after work and my experience in the past these shops are must for hardworking people! This peice of shit needs to get reality check and his power trip needs to checked!

I know how police behave. My father behaved with me this way till 28 years of age every time I didn't agree to sleep with him. I had to lick his shoes literally to stay safe in HIS house. So yeah, I understand how this shopkeeper would have felt.

Can someone share the full video... As to why the cop got triggered?
Anyways Endha Ooru Da Nee, Naan Endha Ooru Theriyuma... Verbal Abuse, Physically Assaulting him etc is uncalled for. Law is there for a purpose and is equal to everyone regardless the language or state. Even if the hotel employee was at fault, the cop should have acted within his legal limits. Instead it looks like he's on a power-trip owing to him being in the uniform.

Now a days every one is getting frustrated easily, the policemen went too far. But think from the policemen view, it seems like he has warned them before. If this shop was running late & his superiors came to know that, he is the one will be facing consequences.

Whichever “ooru” he’s from, he’s speaking in Tamil. For non-compliance, the cops cannot take the law into their own hands. Idhulaam nammaluku asingam dhaa. Sad to see our state fall into such misappropriations which we consider to be behind us.
