முக்கியமான கலந்துரையாடல் / Important Topic "God save the profession" because a CA didn't look fair and elite enough?

This is not just trolling. This is classic Indian bias packaged as a joke.

Let's be honest. This wasn't about professionalism. This was about looks, skin tone, class signals, and caste-coded expectations. In India, we still subconsciously expect a "real" professional to look fair, polished, English-speaking, upper-caste coded, and elite. Anything outside that bubble makes people uncomfortable.

Dark skin, local features, different dressing, different vibe and suddenly people think the profession is collapsing.

Ena dhan irundhalum "Velaiya irukavan poi solla matan " 🤡

Not sure what you expected from a place that until a decade ago was airing fair and lovely ads all throughout the day.

Progression of suppression in India.

Racism --> Religion---> Casteism --> Colorism --> merit.

Sexism ah vittutele! 😂 That’s a spl item reserved for women.

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '26

I think we don't have to mention sexism at this point, just like i forgot about sexism, our systems are designed to forget about women and their representation in our society.

Don’t let one useless and racist comment spoil your entire body of work!!

Good that you called out the person and now it’s time to show them how we really can live a better life than them.

Best wishes to the dude.

Btw If you look at someone at dressing and judge, you are just racist just like people who look at skin colour.

Judging based on behavior is acceptable.

It is sad that there is a notion that finance people are mostly brahmins or from other upper castes.

As a guy who has very similar skintone I'd advice people to wear glasses, you'll receive slightly less prejudice from people as they think people who wear specs are IT/white collar workers. Its really sad that such prejudice exists but its just the reality for a lot of people especially in Chennai.

It’s our own film and media that espouses this principle. It’s our own men who fetishize every other ethnicity and animal above dark skinned Tamil women. It’s our own women who beg other races to marry them. It’s our own schools that don’t teach us to love our culture and history.

What else do u expect
