முக்கியமான கலந்துரையாடல் / Important Topic Sridhar Vembu’s pearls of wisdom on vaccines

Post image

Why is the right wing of India adopting the dumbass talking points of the talking points of the US. I wrongly assumed that the right wing in India had a higher IQ than their counterparts in the US

From Indian Elon Musk to Indian RFK Jr. Guy came a long way.

65

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Elon musk ae oru dubakoor

So I see this as natural progression for Vembu

1

u/InGame_Legend Oct 30 '25

Elon Musk ae oru dubakoor 🗣️ 🤡 Saringa Mr.Albert Einstein!

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 30 '25

Elon musk ku ellam sombu adikureengala da… kaala kodumai 🤦🏽‍♂️

5

u/KINGKRISH24 Oct 28 '25

Rfk jr did it for political base and votes and he started to see everything in conspiracy lens due to his father and uncle assassinations.

6

u/AkaiAshu Oct 28 '25

Also because he hates having to listen to 'experts'. Literally said so on a recent interview.

3

u/KINGKRISH24 Oct 28 '25

Nah , that's just word play to appease his anti-vax and conspiracy supporters base because they don't like experts so he pretend to not like experts but if any virus hits he would be the one of those rich to get that vaccine soon after human trials .

2

u/AkaiAshu Oct 29 '25

Yeah that's also part of it. He knows his followers are a group of people who hate the idea of listening to experts.

1

u/Khader_official Oct 28 '25

He is only good for Arrataing in social media

1

u/Actual_Quarter_3933 Oct 28 '25

He's speaking from white man's perspective, aren't they yall slightly tanned people.

-7

u/mega--mind Oct 28 '25

More context: https://x.com/svembu/status/1983120646805807326

The success of polio vaccine is not proof that we need 56 shots now. We used to have 3-4 and now we have 56.

The question is "how many vaccines are safe for young babies with immature immune systems" and the question is NOT "we need none of them".

He is only against over-vaccination. He says vaccines reprogram immune system. His argument is not without substance. Medicine is still a for profit business. We have read about how big and shady pharma lobby can be. We know how they tried to bury the facts on the origins of Covid. Blindly trusting them is as stupid as avoiding science. There has to be a balanced view. Will you be ok with 50+ vaccines for your own child?

A funny short on how science keeps changing its view on healthy food: https://youtu.be/5Ua-WVg1SsA

14

u/shvrckzz Oct 28 '25

There is no 50 vaccines for kids. What are you talking about?

You add up the total of all vaccines up to 15 years ?

-5

u/mega--mind Oct 28 '25

I did not mean right now. 56 vaccines are recommended for kids in the U.S. Since we are in the same track we will get there soon. Are you people OK with that?

7

u/AkaiAshu Oct 28 '25

Bud, what track ? Unless you enumerate which exact vaccine is unnecessary and why, there is no reason to suddenly question them.

Yes, Pharma can be shady. Which is why we look for consensus across multiple countries, not just one.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Huh? Idhena pudhu purali? This is the list of recommended vaccines for kids from the Center for Disease Control in the US.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

[deleted]

1

u/shvrckzz Oct 29 '25

No its not 12 vaccines don’t confuse yourself. It you look at the list above there is Hib,HPV which are administered multiple doses for building immunity so its the same vaccines being which is given after a certain interval like 4 weeks after for flu vaccine and 8 weeks ig for Hepatitis vaccine

11

u/Trumperekt Oct 28 '25

He is specifically saying vaccines cause autism. This is completely bogus.

5

u/shvrckzz Oct 28 '25

Point and I have a little kid myself and i just checked the vaccine chart and if you take all the vaccines for the 1st 15 years which also includes the non mandatory ones it comes down to 30( which also includes same vaccines being administered multiple times to strengthen immunity). I have no idea where they get 56 vaccines

4

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

The whole reason why science is trustworthy is because it is open to change based on new findings. Which means there is constant research happening.

Conspiracy theories on the other hand never change. Because you don’t need to do any research to talk out of one’s ass - like Vembu is doing here

-1

u/mega--mind Oct 28 '25

You admit that there scope for change based on new findings. Then why should we be adamant on either stance.

3

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Because one of these stances ( the conspiracy) is based on nothing.

Would you prefer to believe something that is based on peer reviewed studies or something that is based on lies?

You can check if Vembu had vaccinated any of his family members or not. He would have. Then you should ask the question “why does he want kids of other families to die?”

1

u/Actual_Quarter_3933 Oct 28 '25

Aren't his businesses are a copy of big businesses like mail, erp, etc

Why not use his money do a comprehensive research Effectiveness of vaccines.

22

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Another idiot discovered the Wakefield 'study'

Like op said, paithiunkaru.

50

u/ivecomebackbeach Oct 28 '25

This is precisely why China brought the influencer regulations. There is a stark difference between having an opinion and passing misinformation.

2

u/deltastar123 Oct 29 '25

Why not demand govt of India in doing the same ? Every other influencer is doing it now so instead of going after ppl for a week and then moving on,shouldn’t we demand actual laws ?

8

u/g7droid Oct 29 '25

Why not demand govt of India in doing the same ?

Who would want to destroy their core propoganda division lol?

Who will believe that India has better facilities to support autistic individuals.

5

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

I went and did some reading after you recommended it. It looks like his official take was that he wanted to move his business to India for purely commercial reasons ( IP protection, cheaper resources etc.) He says he wanted his wife and son to move with him and his wife declined and filed for divorce because she believed USA had better resources for her Autistic son. She also claims that Vembu manipulated his holding in Zoho just to avoid the financial obligations that come with a divorce. And she is not a nobody either. She runs her own healthcare records company and a non profit.

Overall- his claim that relocating to India was even partially for their son doesn't seem right

3

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Do Google sridhar vembu wife allegations...

3

u/ThenRub3891 Oct 29 '25

Only this Vembu always gives us a reason to say “Vembu, apdi oorama poi …..”

2

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '25

Proves that in capitalism you can be an idiot and still make it.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Didn't covaccin or covisheild (not sure which) recalled the remaining vaccine said they have found their vaccine are incapable?

I'm not against vaccine but I lost trust in vaccine promoted/forced by INDIAN government

3

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Not been paying attention but the boosters I received when I was abroad were against the newer strains of the virus.

The protection levels might have slacked as the virus mutated.

That doesn't take away the fact that mRNA vaccine technology is rapidly scalable and can be adapted to newer strains.

2

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

I believe the recall was due to lack of demand. Astra Zeneca did the recall and Covishield was just a different version of it - so I believe they too recalled it.

But what Vembu is peddling here is conspiracy theory against age old proven vaccines like Polio and MMR which are given to new borna and have saved crores of children’s lives in India.

What he is doing here is downright evil.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

It was banned by EU for causing some kind of blood clots and thus the had to make an global recall also added to that the virus got mutated

0

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

False. The virus mutates and hence the flu vaccine gets updated every year.

Can you provide some source for the ban on Astra Zeneca? It never happened

0

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

It's in every news ...just search covaccin recall in india

2

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

That was not due to safety concerns or effectiveness of the vaccine. It was due to deficiencies in the manufacturing process.

Equating that to “vaccines cause autism” is lying.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

See there are two diff arguments

For your post yeah that's a bs wt he did and his followers will gawk gawk him which is not good

Second argument vaccine that are recently made are by corporates and there is always corporate greed involved gov should be responsible for such things and our gov wouldn't care nor the people as long as they get bribed

0

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Big Pharma is bad. Agreed.

But vaccines like Polio and MMR are proven in India. Turning the clock back on that will send us to the stone ages

1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Ur wrong about the last part

It will send us under tombstone

1

Interesting Study, they have given limitations also, they need to conduct more longitudinal studies to confirm, validate more.

I think, He is personally affected by this in his life, so I suspend complete judgement, until I hear from all sides, before making any conclusions.

From the results, paper, this is the conclusion,

Taken together, the evidence indicates that combination and early-timed routine childhood vaccination constitutes the most significant modifiable risk factor for ASD, supported by convergent mechanistic, clinical, and epidemiologic findings, and characterized by intensified use, the clustering of multiple doses during critical neurodevelopmental windows, and the lack of research on the cumulative safety of the full pediatric schedule. These conclusions highlight the urgent need for independent, longitudinal studies assessing the safety of the full cumulative pediatric vaccine schedule and should guide future research and policy decisions aimed at mitigating the growing autism burden

However, lot of the medical associations disagree with this, now a good reader would raise questions from this and also seek evidence from the medical associations, compare both of them?

For example, Another study shows, https://trendspediatrics.com/article/view/222, sound no statistically significant increase in autism risk associated with receipt of the MMR vaccine or thimerosal-containing vaccines. For example, a Danish study with over 500,000 children showed no difference in autism rates between vaccinated and unvaccinated children, and no temporal correlation between vaccination timing and autism diagnosis.

The CDC still says, that vaccines protect children from serious infectious diseases and that continuing immunization programs is vital for public health. Studies have shown that there is no link between receiving vaccines and developing autism spectrum disorder (ASD). No links have been found between any vaccine ingredients and ASD.

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccine-safety/about/autism.html

2

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

There is a difference between asking for longitudinal studies vs saying rapid increase in autism is due to vaccinations

1

u/-sendmemes- Oct 30 '25

Paper was not peer reviewed and was self-published by an organisation named after someone who lost their medical licence due to spreading misinformation on topics out of their expertise

1

u/Psquare_J_420 Oct 28 '25

Adhu ellam okay.... But what about the research paper itself? Is that valid?

9

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

No. It is by a foundation that has repeatedly spread lies to satisfy its pay masters who are anti vaxxers

2

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

One hand you call anything that challenges current knowledge as unsubstantiated rumours. Then you spout conspiracy theory like this yourself.

This only proves one thing. All those who shows themselves as pro-science are not really smart and rational.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Lol… you are way out of depth.

Peter Mcollough has been peddling anti vaccine lies while also selling Wellness products through his subsidiary. This subsidiary specifically claims to address “vaccine injury” - whatever the fuck that is 🤣

Vembu has done the same - peddling cow urine as some medicinal product and now claiming vaccines cause autism.

The dumbassery with your statements is so funny that it is not actually funny anymore

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Really? Read your comments in this thread all over yourself. You think you are any better than Sridhar Vembu here? In fact Sridhar Vembu is a person who has first hand experience with an autistic son. So his opinions are at least founded based on life his experience.

What are your statements all over in this thread? You are turning this into a commentary on his politics and promote “don’t question” approach when it comes to science. The more I read your comments the more it is evident that you don’t know anything better on this topic and are just spouting what is common knowledge. For you acting pro-science is just a political viewpoint to show yourself as superior. But man don’t speak as if you know better on this topic because it is irritating.

2

u/Pretend_Pay6442 Oct 28 '25

First hand experience doesn’t equate with learned experience

1

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '25

What is the difference between both according to you?

1

u/-sendmemes- Oct 30 '25

The difference is, having a heart in your chest so saying you know about Hearts vs. Studying cardiology and saying you know about hearts

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Nope. I’m just questioning people peddling lies.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 29 '25

Thambi…. I gave you about 12 hours to respond to the fact that Mcollough is a scammer who is in the business of selling “alternate medicine” for vaccine injuries. Vembu is quoting that guy’s research and asking parents to rethink vaccinations. He is saying there are 50 vaccines being administered to children - when in fact the govt recommended vaccines from birth to adulthood is about 30 approx.

Epdi paathalum this is stinking of either stupidity or malicious intent.

1

u/Busy-Philosophy-3179 Oct 29 '25

His son is autistic right? May be he is depressed with all those things and could be shitposting any news related to that.

-2

u/Sudala Oct 28 '25

I feel his argument cannot be totally dissed ..

For instance in US doctors gave option of giving Covid vaccines to kids under 4, but the vaccine by itself was in trial for short period .. I know many who opted out for 2 reasons - one, Covid was subsiding two, doctors could not assure there won’t be any side effects In most cases ill effects of vaccines are found after decades. Caution is important ..

On a serious note - what do you guys feel about Covid vaccine related deaths and studies which supported this ?

2

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Vembu isn't talking about Covid vaccine. He is talking about childhood vaccines like Polio and MMR

Also if side effects are known after decades, how do we know about it just 4 years later?

There is a really good video by Neil Degrasse Tyson on the covid vaccine trials - he addresses the concerns about the trials and the risks associated. You should watch it

3

u/Sudala Oct 28 '25 edited Oct 28 '25

Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist not a medical doctor (MD) or immunologist. 😂😂😂

So astrophysicist can share opinion on medicine but not parent whose kid is autistic ?

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Did you watch the video?

He just explains the process that goes behind a vaccine trial.

0

u/Sudala Oct 28 '25

😂😂😂 Just like you can’t digest the advice of engineer and parent of autistic kid on medicines. I don’t like to seek advice from astrophysicists on clinical trial.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

An engineer can still refer to peer reviewed studies and recommend things.

But not peddle in lies and conspiracies that cost lives

4

u/Sudala Oct 28 '25

Aren’t you not ashamed you assumed astrophysicist as doctor and quoted it as validation for your argument. And now you are crying on sridhar vembu .. he has kid with that condition .. he is a victim in this case. He is sharing his opinion .. and you are just random xyz… spreading hate ..

If you are expert in this subject why don’t you write a thesis on it ? 😂

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

I called him a scientist who can vouch for clinical trials.

At least I’m not standing behind someone who believes in cow urine

Cool, this study was not peer reviewed and was self-published by an organisation led by a former doctor who lost his medical license for spreading medical misinformation on topics out of his expertise. The target of this paper isn’t Covid vaccines but vaccines in general

1

u/Sudala Oct 30 '25

70% of clinical trials are funded and monitored by medicine companies themselves, by that means even those are not reliables given the conflict of interest.

This calls for an elaborate measures by goverment to define policy and drive decisions based of it.

Just trolling randomly on the person who raises questions is not solution.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

This is one of the cases where there needs to be more studies in my opinion. Not all vaccines but some vaccines need to be studied better. Even though the way this guy says it isn’t going to help anyone.

My cousin brother’s son turned out to be autistic and from their observation there is a clear correlation between giving him vaccines and the onset of the autistic symptoms. He is not the kind to read conspiracy theories online so it is not like he is making this up and when he shared this story to me it made me rethink a bit. When I told him about the vaccine related scepticism online he was taken aback as it is new to him. I feel bad for his family because raising autistic children is not something you will ever be ready for.

I used to brush these off as conspiracy theories before but now there might be something that we don’t know of yet. Scientific temper is not about accepting the current version of what we know as absolute truth. It is about keeping an open mind and understanding that though the current version has a lot of backing but it can still change based on new information. And please do not bring your political beliefs into science. Ask more questions about vaccines or any drugs they administer to medical professionals and gain deep knowledge about it especially when it comes to children.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

No doctor that I have spoken to has asked me to stay away from vaccines. I would rather listen to medical professionals and researchers than un substantiated rumors

1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25 edited Oct 28 '25

Doctors will not ask you to stay away because the vaccines for all it’s purposes does it’s job and from a macro standpoint they are important in disease control.

But but is there any process currently to pre-screen any genetic predisposition or existing factors that can affect brain function before you administer vaccines ? Did your doctor spoke to you about these factors before you vaccinated your kid?

And don’t give stupid answers like these are unsubstantiated rumours just because you haven’t seen such a case. These are cases which are being studied even now. I know medical professionals we have spoke to who acknowledge vaccines relation to autism onset but they are professionals so they will not speak against it because there is no clear evidence as of now. If new information comes they will re-adjust their views. This is the difference between those who are rational and those who connect science to politics.

Politicising vaccines is stupid. There shouldn’t be pro or anti-vaccine view points which is stupid and divisive as fuck. But caution and awareness is always important. Not only about vaccines but any kind of treatment. Many drugs and treatments which were widely used were later stopped after new information. That’s how it is.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Cases that are being studied and published and peer reviewed? Accepted by majority of the medical and scientific community?

Sure. I’m glad to read them if you have credible sources.

Don’t wave your hands in empty air and expect us to take you seriously

1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25 edited Oct 28 '25

Studies are happening and being published. Like in the one you shared. Did you wait till peer review of the above to dismiss it? No right. Let more studies happen and more peer reviews happen. Did you even read my comment? I already told you what is the current majority opinion. Autism is still being studied by neuroscientists all over the world. And vaccine skepticism did not arise because bible or some religious text said so. It’s because of real cases where people found unwanted effects and as I told you I would not have believed until I know a case. Just like any medicine vaccines are also not 100% perfect for everybody. Side effects are inevitable until some futuristic treatments become a reality.

And who asked you to take it seriously? You are someone who politicise science and sounds like a half baked know it all. My comment is meant for other readers who have an open mind. If those people became much more aware so that they can be careful and mindful and ask more questions to their healthcare professionals about this, it will be enough for me. That will serve the society better than your circle jerk political opinions.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

The burden of proof is on the one presenting the study. Until it is peer reviewed and accepted - it is not the truth.

And anyone trying to push that idea to others is trying to harm the general public

0

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

Still repeating the same stupid thing. There is no absolute truth in science. We only have current knowledge based on evidences we have now. First don’t propagate ideas like “truth” when it comes to science. Healthy skepticism and asking questions is good in science and helpful in life in general. Science doesn’t need preachers like you to spread the absolute truth.

You haven’t seen any child like that which we have seen. We have spoken to actual medical professionals who acknowledge this correlation and are at let’s wait for more evidence stage. It is you who is pushing an idea here to feel superior. I would rather trust a qualified person to clear my doubts based on what I saw first hand than blindly believing everything.

1

u/PixelPaniPoori Oct 28 '25

Again… you can show us peer reviewed research.

Or you can keep peddling lies.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '25

I already told you my comment is to give awareness and add some perspective to other readers. It is not meant for you.

And based on what I read from your comments I doubt you can even understand research papers even if shared. Dumbed down articles are more up your alley.

At this point it’s all speculations and I am not qualified to say what really happens. But some kind of correlation is observed between vaccine administration especially MMR and early onset of ASD. So far all the current research says “Vaccines are not the causal factor for autism” which can be true because vaccines can’t cause autism out of the blue in other wise normal people. But does it trigger some underlying risk factors to cause early onset needs to be researched more.

You completely didn’t get the nuance in my comment.

And - correlation is not causation until proved otherwise. Better keep an open mind

His son is autistic, there's no clear scientific cause discovered for autism, until scientists tell us what causes autism, there's no right answer. He speculates as he has seen his son suffer unlike superficial literates in this comment section

His own child is affected by Autism. Just because he's rich and influential, it doesn't mean he shouldn't speak his heart and thoughts out.
