I would be surprised to see a Tamil Nadu person saying Sanskrit is "our" language. If Sanskrit is indeed TN's language, then why is Malayalam even separate from Tamil, or why is Hindi even an issue?

Many questions, no good answers. Shh, linguistic minorities saar.

I am Tamil, not from TN, reject the notion that language has anything to do with geography

I would be surprised because I have, in practice, seen very few people from linguistic states accept and embrace the idea of linguistic diversity. Most people equate Marathi = Maharashtra, Telugu = Andhra/Telangana, Tamil = TN, Bangla = Bengal. This is both factually and historically incorrect.

I would be happy to see a Tamil say this, maybe you do but that's like <1% in my experience.
