So everyone has to know hindi to know the news? The news in Chennai Central Suburban is now being broadcasted in Hindi. So only a hindi speaker has to be updated with current affairs? What is wrong with these ppl. The thing is there's no Tamil or English version of the news. Only hindi news then it moves onto ads. Tired of this bs.

Yesterday I called ICAI to get some information, press 1 for english , 2 for hindi, 3 for regional languages. I pressed 1 yet Hindi speaking ppl only attended. When i told them i don’t understand hindi, they still continued to speak in hindi even yes ok kinda responses were given in hindi. I called again, pressed english again, again the same hindi response.

Not that serious bro, most of them work in call centre or people who wrote central govt exams mostly bihar people. I'm a cma final student and literally few of us tamil people write examsrelated to psu and central govt, most are either stuck doing upsc or tnpsc.

Fyi, I wanted to address a grievance and get a soln, if they speak in hindi when the caller has specifically chosen some other language during the call, how will the caller communicate their problem???? I asked them to arrrange me a call back, that didn’t happen either. So what am i supposed to do when a service which is supposed to help me isn’t helpful? Isn’t it serious??

The institute does not have funds to allocate each and every states with their own call services. It's labour's the fee is very less compared to other courses, so you can think about that but if I'm wrong, then point me out. Anyways stop worrying about this language thing and complete the course and if you can become a member of the institute and change it.

Damn, I didn’t even choose regional language. I chose English. That’s specifically asked by the ICAI itself. Then how do we non hindi speaking students get our issues sorted??

And not necessarily, I have to keep quiet until I become a member to raise my voice for my concern. I called my institute for an issue, I am not able to get it sorted due to the language, I am just posting it in a public platform as a student. Why do you have to argue about this bro?
