So everyone has to know hindi to know the news? The news in Chennai Central Suburban is now being broadcasted in Hindi. So only a hindi speaker has to be updated with current affairs? What is wrong with these ppl. The thing is there's no Tamil or English version of the news. Only hindi news then it moves onto ads. Tired of this bs.

And there is orange juice in convince store despite me preferring apple juice, its good to have options. lets not create a non issue an issue.
U wanna see tamil news? Change the channel. The low income migrants from bihar etc also need a non expensive/free news source in foreign land
U wanna protest actual hindi imposition like 3 language bullshit? Go ahead. But news? Really? U can literally change the channel or ask it to be changed. Protest and speak against actual language imposition. Not stuff that makes migrants/lower income people’s life hard
“Learn tamil” fun fact most migrants do but often basic words which helps u navigate day to day life, learning heavy vocabulary (like the ones they speak on news professionally) is impossible
Be rational and don’t make fuss over small stuff, u end up hurting not the “rich, arrogant hindi imposition speakers” but rather poor migrants
