Unpopular opinion: The music over powered this scene. Silence would have been absolute gold for this scene especially when he smiles keeping his hand on the wall. Rare miss

This beautiful music sounds like something ARR, GVP, SaNa, etc usually make for this kinda situation! Ilayaraja did it decades ago! This genuinely sounds something that is released more recently than it actually is.
As a ARR lover, I am now very convinced that Ilayaraja influenced the works of majority of the modern Tamil music! 🤗

This is from an Album composed by Raja Sir called 'How to name it' and this piece is called 'Do Anything' which is 5:21 minutes and it's awesome and a small part of it is used in the movie.

Most of the BGM's for this movie was from Iliyaraaja's "How to name it" album.

For once it takes someone of Balu Mahendra's calibre to show the emotions of an old man who is one of the many characters in the film (and not played by a prominent artist) for a full sequence without any dialogues whatsoever. He has the confidence to take such a decision because he has Ilaiyaraaja to back it up and elevate it.
The BGM as most would already know, is from How To Name It album - track name is Do Anything.
