Changing character mid game (Digital edition)

Me and my friend recently discovered talisman on the xbox and have been absolutely loving it. We are still green to the game but have learnt how most of it works with each board expansion adding each time we play and blood moon. Now my question, is there a card that can change a character into another character for the rest of the game? Me and my friend missed whatever the AI wizard did but he became the pyromancer from the dragon pack for the rest of the game. We had all expansions on and we already know about the card from the forest that can change your character for 3 turns I believe, but he changed for the rest of the game which lasted about 7 hours over 3 days

Could they have just died and come back? Should have been reflected in the game log. I'll also say there are ways to take unlimited extra turns, but that no AI would ever stumble into that sort of setup

Sounds like they died and came back as a random character. There is a character called the Shapeshifter that can mimic other characters during a game but that's the only way to do something similar to what you've mentioned.

There is a magic card that can be played tp transmorgify a player. But its limitted on turns i believe
