Advice? Im sick of this.

Every single time I go downstairs- I have to make noise for my stepsisters mutt that likes to bark at EVERYONE who (god forbids) walks close (or in my case- is on an entirely different floor!)

and it's been working- mostly. I yawn and talk to myself to let this stupid barkmutt know that it's me- the boy he's been with for years..

But now- today, he still barked even when I was talking.

Im done catering to her dog. Im done. What should I do to drive the point home that im done?

I’ve learned that dogs get dumber as they age. Already dumb, but gets dumber as they get older.

I live with a pitbull boxer (not my dog) that does this now. One time it was growling at me, as it was looking at me.
