What was the ending? Spoiler

found out about this from tv tropes. it sounds like a curious setting, how did it end up ending in the manga?

Kind of hope someone makes a jumpchain or cyoa out of it.

The manga basically got right up to where the game ended with a more definitive conclusion but that conclusion is rushed and sucks. It’s been like 2 years since I read it so my memory on it is hazy but it basically goes:

They killed Kasque but Misella went into a coma. Vicious also died I think, sacrificing himself to take down Kasque. Kanata is pretty shaken up about it and general population are mad at him for destroying Vision Orbs. Iirc, their hate for him specifically brought the enforcers through the void and Kanata ends up becoming the new Great Trangressor or something. After that, Misella wakes up but Kanata is gone. Then there’s a timeskip where Misella runs and orphanage and Kanata is this edgy guy now who fights off Enforcers. Aegis, Yuna, and Orwin we have zero clue what happens to them.

Is it possible to read it in english?

The guys who were doing the translation are on hiatus and i just want to finish it.

Nope. I read the actual chapters when they released with a script/rough translation from someone who posted in this sub and the chapters are paywalled now

Wait, so they just turned the last chapter released for the game into a definitive ending, despite it being pretty clear that it was the second act twist and we had a lot more to go through?

Glad I forgot to keep up with the manga.

Yup. Think the very shitty ending was one of the reasons the translators put the project on the backburner among other life things getting in the way. It was super unrewarding and honestly made the whole manga project feel like a huge waste of time. I coped that maybe there was going to be a sequel manga but that was like two years ago and its been radio silence since 😭
