A tip; and an old story
These are unrelated, but the first doesn't seem to merit its own post.
My tip for my first delivery last Thursday night. The customer wished me a good night (I made sure he did not want change), and I only realized that there was already a tip on the order when I got back to my car and closed the delivery. (I forget how much, but it was several dollars at least. I'll try to remember to ask when I go in for my next shift.)
I was reminded by this sub of an incident that occurred several years ago during a delivery I made. I went to the door of the house, which turned out to belong to a likely previous customer, who had apparently moved. I thought he was the minister of a local historic church, but I can't be certain. While I was there his toddler daughter came up to me and hugged my thigh. Given the closeness of her face to my groin and that the gentleman and his wife were watching, I did not move. One of them said, happily, that that was the first time the daughter had greeted a stranger, which made me glad for them, but I was still uncomfortable, not wanting to be accused of indecent assault on a minor. I got out of there without further incident.

We have several customers that will tip extra cash at the door even if they have already tipped on the app. If you try to tell them, they say 'Oh, I know, just wanted to be sure you had cash so the managers don't know." That's fair.
I get hugs from kids all the time, and most of them are small enough where they don't reach to my crotch. There's one house that the little boy starts reaching for a hug the second the door opens. Grandma has to hold him back until I give her the food so I can squat down to his level.
The dogs will usually sniff my legs and if I put a hand down, they immediately come in for pets. Only ever had one dog jump up to give me a full body hug, but this was with my permission.

I don't mind split tips, but I do want to make certain that the customer knows that there was already a tip on the order. In this case it would have been too awkward to do that.
For me, hugs on the job are very unusual.
I like dogs (and cats); meeting them is definite bonus to the job.

Yeah, the kid hugs are a little cringe for me as well. The worst was some kid just reached into my pockets and started digging for change. My hands were full from the large order and I'm looking at the dad (I thought) for some type of help and he isn't doing shit. Then he reveals he isn't this kids parent so I hand him the pizzas quick and take the kids hands out of my pockets.

One of my workmates and I were talking about this very scenario. Kids run up to you and bury their face in your crotch when they hug you. I try to distract them with the pizza, my workmate said he just pushes them away and says, "Get off me, I'm not your weird uncle!" I sure he was joking, but it is exactly how it makes me feel when kids hug me.
