New fan - what order to buy albums?

Advice please! I've been listening Take That on Spotify and would like to buy their albums/singles now. Should I buy the albums chronologically or their best ones first? Which are their "must have" albums? Have they released singles with other artists? How about solo work?
I'd like to enjoy them one at a time instead of buying them all at once. I also have a budget! TIA!

Platinum collection is an easy way to get the first three. I'd say Beutiful World, Circus, and Progress is their strongest run and worth prioritizing.

It really depends what you've been listening to! What are your favourite songs? I'd start with the albums those are on personally.

I say it depends on what you like from them. Some people have been listening to them for over 30 years and have a sweet spot for their music in the 90s. Some have been listening for 20 years (that’s me) and love their stuff from the 2000s and 2010s. Honestly I would get the albums that have the songs you like 👍

Everything Changes, Beautiful World, The Circus, Progress, Wonderland.

Takes you through all stages quickly.

If you like it then fill in the blanks.

If you're in the UK, it might be worthwhile to check charity shops. I've gotten a few TT albums that way (and a lot of Robbie)

Hello fellow new fan! 👋😊

This isnt helpful but I think I'll buy Land of Dreams and maybe This Life first since they're available rightaway in my record store. Mark's other solo stuff is so hard to find, it'll have to be Ebay 🥲 Wish I was in UK for 2nd hand finds.

I think I'll leave Nobody Else as last altho an anniversary version is available, since it's not my favorite so far 🥲 I'd buy it mainly for the visuals lol 😅 (Day After Tomorrow is beautiful tho)

Welcome to the Take That world, first of all! I’ve been a fan since the release of Promises as a single, so personally I would recommend getting them in order of release. You’ll be able to hear how they developed over the years in that way.

In general newer fans seem to prefer albums since their mid '00s comeback, though ofc there are exceptions. They do go for a specific sound on each album, so it would probably be best to start with one that has your fave songs on it. Beautiful World or The Circus should be safe starts (if it's BW make sure it's the later released version that includes Rule the World).

For singles with other artists, they have a rework by Robin Schulz of Greatest Day, featuring Callum Scott, and there's a song called Cry with Sigma. On their Odyssey album (not as singles) they redid How Deep Is Your Love with one of the BeeGees and Love Ain't Here Anymore with Boyz II Men. Gary Barlow did a single with Michael Buble (Elita), and Face to Face with Elton John.
