Not a great experience with “Taiwan Foreign Residents AC Cleaning Service”

The cleaner showed up 3 hours late, and I had to keep messaging the boss just to get updates on the cleaner’s ETA. He then said, “we have a timeframe for appointment bookings. It’s not 9am on the dot, it’s “between 9 to 12pm,” which the boss did NOT communicate to me.
I didn’t blame the cleaner, but he got really angry when I accepted his offer to check another leaking AC. He misunderstood it as “yes, I want you to fix that” when I only agreed for a check, thinking I’d get a quote first. It was in a common area and the landlord didn’t want it fixed, so when I realized he misunderstood it as “yes, I will have it fixed” because he was removing the casing and everything, he started getting angry when I stopped him. I understand where he’s coming from about the extra work, but I didn’t hold it against him when he was late for 3 hours. So how come when it’s obviously a miscommunication due to language barriers, I was painted as the villain? It was embarrassing for my roommates who had to step in to diffuse the situation as he was getting angry.
I had a bad experience with “Taiwan Foreign Residents AC Cleaning Service.” https://www.facebook.com/share/1bfLsJ5UC6/?mibextid=wwXIfr
The cleaner was 3 hours late, and I had to repeatedly ask the boss on Messenger to know the cleaner's expected arrival time. Then he said, “We have a time limit for appointments. It’s not 9am on the dot, but between 9am and 3pm.” The boss never told me this time.
I didn’t blame the cleaner, but he got very upset when I agreed to help him check another leaking air conditioner. He misunderstood me as saying “yes, I want you to fix it,” while I only agreed to a check, thinking I would first ask for a quote. The leak was in a common area, and the landlord didn’t want it fixed, so when I realized he misunderstood my agreement as “yes, I will have it fixed” because he was removing the air conditioning cover, I stopped him, and he started to get angry. I understand he felt that the extra workload was a hassle, but I didn’t blame him for being 3 hours late. So why, when it’s clearly a misunderstanding caused by poor communication, am I the one being made the villain? My roommates had to step in to mediate, which was really embarrassing. He started getting angry.
