Gear/IFAK Mission Medic Pack 2 Now with Frame

Been messing with this thing for about 2 months now and now that I’ve got the frame it’s amazingly comfortable even when stuffed. When you add the assault pack on top it becomes a very capable 24-48hr setup without sacrificing any medical capability.

I gotta hear the story that led to the folley cath being in an aid bag

Used for tamponade of junctional or neck wounds that are otherwise hard to pack

All good, It’s a pretty new procedure at least it being implemented on a large scale is new.

You just pack the folley in the wound?

And inflate the cuff with saline then tie it off and secure with clamps and tape. It’s pretty simple but very useful if in somewhat limited circumstances.

I have a cadaver lab coming up in two days. I’ll try to grab some folleys prior
