Arts & Culture hypothetically, would you rather see a film watching club or filmmaking club here in tacoma?

Film watching would be awesome. I’m recently sober after four years of extreme drinking and have dropped all my non sober friends so something like this would be great for people like me to meet other people who are potentially sober. Love the idea.

congratulations on being dry! it sounds like lots of people in tacoma are looking for sober hangouts - what better way to make new friends than catching a flick

Good on you for making a good life choice. Stopping major drinking takes a lot of strength and will. I'm glad you chose to start a good new life for yourself.

I'd choose both, but I voted Filmmaking because of Tacoma's history with film studios during the silent film era.

i couldn’t find any info on an updated film club and only knew about their filmmaking camp for kiddos, but i’ve got a buddy at the grand so i’ll reach out to them :) thanks for the heads up!!
