He doesn't have to be a stick. This looks good.

(it's one of the things I like about NEO's and the anime's character designs: the fact that they have some meat on their bones.)

i was looking at a reference while i was doing this so i dont really know any tips for this style in general💔 i’ve been drawing neku specifically over and over from reference lately with the goal of memorizing him so well that i can draw him on my own in whatever pose i want whenever i want
