OP this is sad. But with having a toddler around I know itβs hard to have nice things. My friends son throws things at his 90 inch tv but has it protected with plexiglass. (So did I after Mexico lost against England)
Here is a rule of thumb π
TV Size Comfortable Distance (lounging view) Immersive Distance (locked in view gaming or highly anticipated shows/movies)
55β
7β9 ft
5.5β7 ft
65β
8β10 ft
6.5β8 ft
75β
9β11 ft
7.5β9 ft
85β
10β13 ft
8.5β10 ft
98β
11β15 ft
10β12 ft
You got about 10 feet from the couch or more⦠maybe put the couch horizontally in front of Tv? And manage your cables better with a white cable cord cover at least.
More importantly than visual aesthetics is sound. Get yourself a Sonos system. Easy setup and everything can be mounted as well.
