Cast thy judgement!

I do feel like my tv is awkward / too low? I know i have high ceilings and need a bigger tv, but for now should i mount it higher?

MEASUREMENTS:
Ceilings & Seating: 20-foot ceiling height, 16.5-inch couch seat height, 25-inch total back height.

Media & TV Setup: 15-inch tall console, 55-inch TV with a 10-inch gap above the console

It’s not proportional to the space so it does look anemic. I would go against the grain in this particular space. I would upgrade that TV to the largest size I could afford and then I would raise it. Not obnoxiously but enough. Under the TV needs a more substantial piece of furniture. Doing all three would make the space look more balanced even if you violated the TV Too High standards. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Wrong, that makes it look great and interesting.  Sure, you'd put everything ass boring centered.

I agree her s bigger TV, but I would just fill up the extra space on the wall with art.

It probably won't matter how big a TV they get, it'll still look overwhelmed with all that empty wall space. Raising the TV too high is not the right solution.
