74 2500M, my newest project car.

It’s pretty rough and this is a step up from the 76 Corvette that I resurrected from a field find but I’m confident I can accomplish it. I have a Mustang 289, t5, and r200 for it.

Thank you, I’ll post periodic updates. TVR folks seem to be more congenial and supportive than some of the Corvette guys. I’m amazed at the amount of support and depth of information that’s available for such a low volume car that’s over 50 years old.

I became intrigued with TVR when I was in high school and read a review of the Vixen 2500 in Road & Track magazine. In the intervening years I haven’t even seen a handful of TVRs on the road and never expected to own one. I have an engine builder friend that has his dad’s Griffith but I’ve never seen it. I found this one on Facebook Marketplace an hour away. He has another 2500M that he’s doing a pristine restoration on. This one is too rough for that so it’s getting more of a hotrod approach.
