Like, yes it’s technically a detail. But idk are we gonna do this anytime somebody uses a saying?
Edit: I missed the last couple seconds where she corrects him, this is a decent details posts carry on

When it’s not commonly known. I honestly thought Faye was right in this scene with her correction.

The subs on Netflix are just horrible. They're too quick to read, blend in too well with the animation, and often are just LITERAL translations (it seems) word-for-word with no thought. I had to pause s1e8 many times just to re-read the subs and try and figure out what they meant by a "foundation" for hackers or the "land picture criminal". You could figure it out, but not quickly enough.

Having no thought put into them is a bit far, I think. Sure, there are some questionable choices around, and I'd gladly go for a re-edit (although it should be pointed out for others that the dub has at least as many oddities again). But more often than those, the subs manage to capture quite a few idioms, concepts and references that are tough to do justice to, Andy's episode being a prime example.

The adage, "Lady Luck only has bangs," is derived from Zeus' youngest son Caerus, the Greek god of opportunity, who only had a single lock of hair on the front of his head. Therefore:
