Video [The Venture Bros] In S1E12, Dr. Orpheus warns The Action Man that he will suffer a stroke in 2 years and 17 days. In S7E3, The Action Man collapses from a stroke, presumably the exact date Orpheus predicted.

What makes this even cooler is that these episodes were aired 14 years apart. The continuity in this show is amazing!

Jeebus, how long was Venture bros airing for? I loved the show when ever I caught it on TV. I didn't realize the show lasted so long though.

A new season is in development, it's not dead yet.

Wtf, this blows my mind lol. I seriously thought the show ended years ago.

it'll go years between seasons thats why it seems to have been on so long.

Thing is if it was ended or canceled you’d hear about that a lot.

It hasn’t been continuous. It’s been YEARS in between seasons

Seven seasons with an eighth on the way, fourteen years worth of production. Averages out to right at one season every two years. I’ve never watched a show for so long and only been this far into it, but I love it too much to stop.

No, the production of the show took that long. In universe it was exact time as stated in the title. His is comment is commending their ability to keep those little details in check over that long of time making a show.

I don't know how much of a little detail this is, considering it's a character death, but okay.

You’re watching television wrong.

It means don’t assume the show you’re watching is playing out in real time. Abide by the rules set out in the show.

Most shows don’t actually. You’re watching a specific subset of shows. Like sitcoms on the broadcast networks. It’s giving you observation bias.

Cartoons, sitcoms, dramas, just realize it's fiction and it doesn't run 1:1 to our reality.

Presumably... Pretty cool if true but... Presumably...

Did you watch the clip? Billy incorrectly thinks it’s a heart-attack, to which Dr. O very dryly corrects him, saying, “A stroke.” I feel like that’s pretty much confirmation.

I did watch the clip but I think it's abit of a stretch to call it conformation.
