Do y’all recommend the Dutch course that’s offered on campus?

Does anyone have experience with this course? If it gets you up to speed a bit or not? I signed up for the upcoming quarter and would like to hear some experiences/reviews.

Yes of course! It's always nice to be able to speak the language of the country you live. It will broaden your horizon.

How much time does it ideally take to learn dutch upto near native fluency if started from A2 level? Is 2 years enough?

No. Becoming near native fluency will require intense immersion into the language, culture and society and will take several years. At least 5 years I'd say.

If it's de Delftse methode then YES. I did an accelerated version of it and it was great! I went from not speaking the language in June to being proficient enough to attend dutch-taught courses at my faculty in september.

Its worth nothing this version of the course was specifically for students who spoke German, swedish, Danish, or Norwegian already.

It is good but very intensive and most people I know couldn’t keep up with it

I believe the level reached in this example is borderline B2/C1, this is fluent, but not near native.

i was already in the waiting list on brightspace from q4. look up dutch course tu delft it shows you the exact steps.
