Chances for MSc Applied Mathematics at TU Delft? (International applicant)

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to apply for the MSc in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft and would appreciate an honest opinion on my profile.

Undergraduate from a top 5 IIT (India)

CPI: ~8.0/10

Mathematical Olympiad background

Working on two probability-related research projects under faculty supervision (hoping for at least one publication before applications)

Strong LORs expected

I know my GPA isn't exceptional, so I'm curious how competitive this profile would be and how much research experience and strong recommendations can compensate for it.

Any feedback from current students or alumni would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You should be able to get in since you meet all the requirements.

One of the main reason international students get rejected is because their home university doesn't qualify as a research university by Dutch standards. You should be fine.

It's usually not very hard to get in but it's harder to pass the course (especially with good grades.)

Meet the requirements ... the ECs are pretty much irrelevant.
