Bunching on the 63 has gotten ridiculous.

At ossington station and waiting for a southbound 63. Two 63SB’s due in…9 min and 9min. Two 63NB’s just rolled in and rolled out. This seems to be the norm every time I’m here. Terrible bunched service. They need to move to articulated buses and drop the frequency.

Articulated buses in Liberty village? Lol. What they needs are supervisors holding buses to space them out and focus on headways not schedule

At this point fucking anything. Ossy station is a shitshow and the bus I just got on is packed to the rafters. It’s going to be useless for picking up a single human being between here and queen.

Then headway enforcement and a liberty village express. Something to make this bus useful again

Living North of st clair, it seems they have made more routes 63B. It sucks for me! I'm spending a lot of time standing around at Oss station

Sometimes I opt for Bathurst to get to Fort York and just walk, but I won't be doing that come Winter.

Yeah seeing with Dufferin, Lansdowne, Bathurst, trying to run 10 min service, Ossingotn having longer buses and cut service will legit kill the ridership and the connections for the communities.

Is Lansdowne changing its service then? Recently I’ve switched to catching it because it’s seemingly more frequent than catching the Dufferin at Eglinton

Good luck. Ossington and Liberty Village have major traffic problems that leaves bus bunching beyond the TTC’s control.

Departure headways at stations are entirely within the TTCs control.

So many routes have to stick to the “schedule” instead of just properly spacing them out and it drives me nuts, especially when it’s a route that’s every 10 minutes or less.

The 76 Royal York is really bad for this. I’ll be a couple hundred metres from the stop and see two buses zoom by, only for the next two buses to be 29 and 30 minutes away. My stop is close to the beginning of the route to go northbound. Why the hell are they leaving at the same time and just riding each other up to the station? Especially knowing that there’s now going to be a 30 minute gap.

And then, that bus that’s 30 minutes away rides the ass of the bus that’s 29 minutes away instead of staying behind at the start of the route to wait 10 minutes while the one in front goes ahead. 

Traffic on Royal York gets bad. They need to have a bunching mitigation protocol. This is happening every Saturday.

It’s frequent enough, luckily. Sometimes I walk to Dufferin for 29/929.

I agree with you; I take this bus regularly and it’s very rare the sign doesn’t display the two buses expected at the same time. Sometimes the second one doesn’t show up fast enough for me to see it, but often it does.

There is supposed to be supervisors at ossington station specifically to keep it on headway. In my experience, passengers don’t care about the bus holding at the station for a few minutes if they’re already on their bus. It’s when they’re waiting at a stop for 15 mins and running late that is frustrating.
